  1. I figured that, but I was wondering if anyone had heard of any other ways to do it
  2. I want to get a 750d, and I'm curious about alternative drive mounting capabilities. I've seen some builds that are watercooled with radiators at the bottom, and hard drives installed on the chassis (I don't know where though, they just list it in the parts list). I was wondering where the drives could be put. I know of the SSD brackets below the 5.25" bay. Thanks in advance
  3. I'm building my first computer, I haven't bought the parts yet, because I'm doing it as a self birthday present and my bday is in May. I was thinking about doing a retro-neon themed build, with purple underlights and blue/purple inside. I want to watercool it for effect as well. Here are the parts: Intel Core i5 6600K 3.5GHz MSI Z170A Krait Gaming Motherboard MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card Kingston FURY 16GB DDR4 2400MHz Memory Corsair RM550 (or EVGA SuperNova 550) Corsair 750D Airflow Edition Samsung 850 EVO Series 250GB SSD Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB With the watercooling, I want to do soft tubing because it'll be easier and I don't really mind the difference. I'll put in a 360mm rad and a 240mm rad (and maybe a 140mm on the back). Here are my questions: What fans should I use? Should I do what JayzTwoCents did and paint the rims of the fans or should I get LED fans? What coolant/dye should I use? Would using UV coolant be a good idea? Or should I get cyan-ish blue coolant? Is there anything else I can do that would make this look really cool? I'm open to suggestions.
  4. Only 500-550? So the RM550x would work? I thought I might need more
  5. I'm not sure what power supply I'll need for my build. I was going to go with a Corsair RM550x, but I don't know if it will be enough as I want to watercool my computer. Here's what I'm going to buy: CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K 3.5GHz Motherboard: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming Motherboard RAM: Kingston FURY 16GB DDR4 2400MHz Memory GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card SSD: Samsung 850 EVO Series 250GB SSD HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB I'm going to have a D5 pump in the case, and about 6-7 fans. There isn't much limit as to how much it will cost, as I want the power supply to be reliable.
  6. I've never watercooled a computer before, and I'm not sure if this would be optimal. I have a budget of $600-$700 (AUD), and I want to cool my CPU and GPU as where I live gets quite warm. The loop I designed: EK Vardar 120mm Fan F1-120 1150RPM (x3) EK CoolStream SE 360 Slim Triple Radiator EK Ekoolant EVO Clear Premix 1000mL Coolant EK ACF 13/19mm Compression Fitting White PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Tubing Clear 1/2ID 3/4OD Thermaltake Flexible Tubing V-Tubler 4T 1/2" (13 mm) EK Supremacy MX CPU Waterblock EK Full Cover VGA Block EK-FC970 GTX ACX Nickel EK Full Cover VGA Block EK-FC970 GTX TF5 Acetal Nickel EK XRES 140 D5 PWM Pump/Reservoir Combo I need to cool a 6600K with a GTX 970 Gaming Edition by MSI, in a Corsair 750D Airflow Edition. Thanks in advance EDIT: only one 360 rad was meant to be in this loop
