Hi, I'm also considering the same thing as OP, but I'm not gonna do raid, just wanna beef up my storage capacity. If 2 500gb ssd is cheaper than 1 1tb ssd is there still a reason I should go for the 1tb one? Thanks

No offense, but I have seen many people use this video (or something similar) to convince others that any earphones/headphones are good enough for surround. Yes, you can tell which direction the sounds are coming from as long as you are using a stereo earphones/headphones, but these videos are recorded using an expensive dummy head and specialised microphones to mimic how the human ears hear. I believe most games do not use this technique to record their effects/sound tracks, so I believe this argument is invalid.

Hi there, I have a DT990 pro 250ohms headphones and i listen to them on my iPhone a lot of the time. They get loud enough for me (in a quiet room) at around 60% of the volume bar, so its plenty loud for me. However some might say that even though they are loud enough doesn't mean they are properly driven, but they do sound pretty decent for me off the iPhone.

Yeah I agree with Waheed. IF your budget allows, go with a good pair of headphones and use an external mic with it. Much more flexible and delivers better sound quality. -

Hi guys, your noob comrade requires some assistance :lol: I am getting a beyer dt990 pro 250 ohms headphones and I am considering to get an O2 amp/ampdaccombo to go with it(I know I know, I should wait for the headphones to arrive to decide if I need an amp, just assume I need an amp ). What more will the ODAC combo provide in terms of sound quality over just the amp? Is it worth the money to get the ODAC combo? Also does the DAC improve sound quality coming out from portable devices like phones and mp3s ? Thanks in advance guys B)
