  1. Thanks for all of your responses. My brother looked at it and we tweaked it a bit to adjust it to our budget. Only thing that remains now is waiting for the parts to come and build it .
  2. Hi! My brother is looking to buy a PC for gaming and animation. He made a list of parts with a friend but I think he may be able to get more performance with his budget (1175€). He'd like to have 16 GB of RAM, a good GPU, an SDD for the OS and some programs, an HDD for mass storage, and a good display. And if it helps we're from Spain. Thank you very much! PD: These are the links to the components he choosed in case it helps. https://www.pccomponentes.com/aoc-u2879vf-28---4k-uhd https://www.pccomponentes.com/corsair-carbide-100r-usb-30-negra https://www.pccomponentes.com/wd-purple-2tb-sata-3 https://www.pccomponentes.com/kingston-a400-ssd-240gb https://www.pccomponentes.com/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-windforce-oc-6gb-gddr5 https://www.pccomponentes.com/memoria-ram-kingston-hyperx-fury-black-ddr4-2933mhz-16gb-cl17 https://www.pccomponentes.com/intel-core-i5-8400-28ghz-box + a PSU that wasn't in stock
  3. Mhm, I see. What about the case. Is one fan enough to cool the entire PC?
  4. Thanks! All the components in this build seem preety nice. But I’m not sure about some things. First, is there any possiblity that I could get an Intel CPU instead of an AMD one? Which one should it be and which motherboard should I pick with it? And then, I looked up the spects on the case and it seems to include one fan. Is that enough to cool the entire PC?
  5. Hi! I want to build a PC and I'd like to get the most value out of the money I have. That's why I'm asking here, because even though I have some knowledge of PC parts, I still think I need some help with this decision. I’ll be using it mainly for gaming and game developement (which includes 3D modelling, animation and programming). I intend to spend 720€ (or less) in my PC parts and a monitor. I'll probably order it online so I can only buy on shops that ship to Spain . Could you give me any recommendations on what to get with the money I have and considering what I’ll be using it for? Thanks

    SSD help

I see. What about this one? It's 240gb and it is from Crucial (it's the cheapest 240 GB that I have found). https://www.amazon.es/Crucial-BX200-Disco-sólido-serial/dp/B016JREGAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1465137968&sr=8-1&keywords=240gb

    SSD help

I am planning on buying an SSD. I would like to put Windows and maybe some other programs such as Blender or some games, so I think that 120GB will be fine. I found this two in amazon.es. Which one do you think is the best? Do you know of any other that can be better around this price? https://www.amazon.es/HyperX-FURY-Disco-interno-gaming/dp/B00KW3MTBS/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1465133440&sr=1-5&keywords=ssd https://www.amazon.es/Kingston-SSDNowV300-Disco-duro-interno/dp/B00A1ZTZOG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1465132789&sr=8-1&keywords=kingston+ssd Thanks
  8. Is there any difference between the SEAGATE 3.5 " 2TB SATA3 BARRACUDA that you recommeneded and the Toshiba 2 TB SATA3?
  9. Ok. So at the end it will look like this: - CPU: Intel i5 4460 - Motherboard: Asrock B85 Anniversary - Memory: Kingston HyperX FURY Blue series 8GB DDR3 1600 CL10 - Storage: Toshiba 2 TB SATA3 - GPU: Gigabyte GTX 950 OC (sorry, i don't plan to change it as i already have it and i prefer nvidia over amd GPUs) - Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4 - Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80 Plus (although i would get the antec this is 10 euros cheaper  ) - Case: Kolink Aviator white What do you think? I plan on using it for gaming as well as editing and drawing.
  10. https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/271a81/psa_stop_combining_intel_8_series_with_the_new/ I found this post after looking a little bit. Is it true? If I get that motherboard i will need a bios update?
  11. Yes it fits http://xtremmedia.com/Kolink_Aviator_Blanca_LED_Azul_con_Ventana.html However i still not understand why B85 isn't in the intel's web for the 4460 as a compatible motherboard (http://ark.intel.com/products/80817/[email protected]ty).
  12. So what do you tell me about the Asrock B85 Anniversary http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B85%20Anniversary/?cat=CPU it is also compatible, and it's cheaper.
  13. But at intel's webpage for the i5 4460 (http://processormatch.intel.com/MotherBoards/CompatibleBoards?componentName=i5-4460) it doesn't figure out as a compatible motherboard.
  14. Do you think 500 W will be enough to handle the PC?
  15. No, I meant anything on the budget except the GPU.
