  1. im trying to mount custom cnc milled heat sink to a 980ti. it would be hanging from the gpu and support from the bottom with mounts.
  2. actually, lg is in the process of making an 8k display that has such a high pixel density they claim there will be no need for 3d glasses
  3. i agree, but wouldnt the extra pixels still contribute to a better viewing experience. I know that the human eye cannot discern a higher pixel density beyond a certain distance away from the display. Still, a higher ppi would make the images almost 3d like. So why not do it, its not like its going to cost manufacturers their quality of products.
  4. There are phones with 441ppi on 5 inch screens so why cant manufacturers do the same on monitors.
  5. yes i know, but why cant intel make a software that can substitute the users know how in OCing a cpu. A software built for that purpose definitely would give more fine tuned results and less risk of a busted cpu
  6. Thats exactly my point, why havent intel made a software that can address such issues. Asus 5 way optimization is fine but it doesnt truly unlock the potential of a high end cpu.
  7. Yeah its definitely fun, but that aside, there are many noobs who fry their cpu trying to OC. Shouldnt there atleast be the option for intelligent voltage control depending on cpu stability at higher clocks?
  8. Why can't manufacturers develop a software that can tinker with voltages, multipliers and baseclocks on its own? It would certainly be more efficient than a user contantly fiddling with the bios unil they get a stable OC.
