MS paint is pretty damn fantastic.
 

Having great visuals does not take absolute beast hardware, a lot of it is art style and tricks.
 
DOOM 3 has better graphics than most modern games with Sikkmod

A Corsair 120mm fan bolted directly on the side of the cooler pushing a shit tonne of air across the circuitry, i will let her rip in a bit once i install 3D Mark and see if i can obtain a score for you guys, should get interesting
 
That Corsair at 100% sounds like a Delta... Fan airflow: 46 - 92 CFM
Fan dBA: 22 - 39 dBA
Fan static pressure: 1.6 - 7.7mm/H20

They were doing a formation flight in Russian aircraft, so I pulled up in my Saber and took a screen shot.
 
 

The Source engine is so shitty that it pretty much breaks under anything if it gets changed, so eh.

It's also 60FPS and 1080p, so people who played it on last gen and liked it might want to pick it up for the better exp, and people who didn't get it last gen might want to play 4-5-6 before the impending release of 7 some time next year or whatever
 
Isn't this going to be the only 1080 60 version with co op?

its still considered remastered as far as console releases go

the definition of remaster, is to create a new master copy with better quality, and since consoles do not have dynamic quality settings they have released the game in higher quality for the newer consoles

So technically "remaster" is accurate

Doenst matter that the PC version existed before and was higher quality already, the MASTER copy for the consoles has been upgraded

There are Cheaters in CS since 1999. I dont think we will ever see a CS without those cowards.

well to be honest i rarely play AAA games because they all seem the same now. i like indie games. the only AAA game i play is Skyrim and GTA 5 on occasion. but i do play ps1/ps2 AAA games

im replaying A Bugs Life right now just because i never beat it when i was a kid.

i bet they release some retro style thing in  DLC  

I just saw the gameplay footage on Youtube. The gameplay looks pretty interesting from what little we've seen so far, but the game itself looks absolutely gorgeous. The character models even rival Rise of the Tomb Raider because of the much more detailed skin textures. I probably won't be able to get a nice 60 at 1440p with high settings just like ROTR with the single 390x. But even the 720p footage from the Xbox that they're showing looks amazing so I can only imagine what 1080p + slightly better visuals at 60fps looks like  I know I'm super excited but hopefully Microsoft doesn't screw this one up which they seem to have a knack for doing

Ps2 ports needs to be plugged in before the pc is turned on

I run a MSI 790FX-GD70 so it's quite a recent board with PS2 ports, i can hot swap once the bios has booted with it plugged in

Have they removed pick ups from single player too? I didn't watch much of the first video as LVL Cap's monotone voice gives me a bloody headache. But if that is the case, I completely agree with not liking the idea of taking that out. 
Anyway, I'm just going to sit back and wait for TB's first impressions of the game. Knowing his views on modern shooter campaigns, I usually agree with what he has to say. As for multiplayer, there are still arena shooters like Quake out there. Reflex is one of them. It's still in early access, but it's pretty fun and is already building a very small competitive scene.
