  1. Oh yeah, if you're cable isn't the right fit, you can pop off some of the connectors for the CPU & graphics card. And don't worry you can pop them back to a full sized connector
  2. It's not as hard as it looks, most of the ports on your motherboard are labeled, most of the cables explain themselves & if you're still having problems just look up a buildlog of Linus & watch it carefully or look at the manual. I've recently switched out my power supply & graphics card and that was my first time ever touching the inside of a pc (excluding cleaning). Just use your logic & common sense, don't be afraid to look things up, but whatever you do DONT PANIC!! I panicked & it took me 4 hours before I was done so yeah. Oh yeah, don't forget to have fun when you're building
  3. Hi guys, I'm getting myself some new parts for my computer (AMD FX-8350, MSI 970 Gaming & a Corsair liquid cooler) and I would like to overclock my cpu for the first time, and overclocking is pretty much free excluding the new parts I'm getting so why not? But as a overclocking virgin I pretty much don't know anything about it. I've already looked up some tutorials but as every beginner it's overwhelming & i'm scared to break my processor. So what do I have to know about overclocking before I begin with it? I appreciate every little bit of help

  5. I'm at the moment on Aggramar but it's not that good of a realm to be honest, but hey if you wanna join me on my adventures go ahead. I'll drop the guildname once I've made it. (i'm not home at the moment)
  6. Hi guys, I've been thinking about getting back into WoW since Legion was revealed but all my friends are done playing the game for good So I wanna start a big guild for guys who wanna get back into the game (casual or hardcore) Anyone interested?
  7. Thanks for showing me those comparisons! I knew this was coming to be honest
  8. Hi everyone, I recently got myself a new graphics card (Asus GTX970) and as I was testing out my games I got the idea of recording my gameplay. So as any excited person would do I opened up my software of choice (Open Broadcasting Software) and started to record. In seconds I got the message that my CPU was running high and the recording had alot of lag, the game I was recording only gained a little bit of lag but it was annoying to play. The only game I can record tho is World of Warcraft running at high settings, but I still a little bit of in-game lag and lag in my footage. So this is my build: I don't know what motherboard I have but it has a AM3+ socket AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.00GHz Asus GTX970 4G OC Edition 8G of Corsair DDR3 1TB of HDD and 500G of SSD (i don't know the other parts) And as I already mentioned I'm recording with Open Broadcasting Software at 720p. So yeah, can somebody please help me with this problem? I don't necesseraly wanna buy a new CPU if I can record with the one I have, but i'm willing to upgrade my computer if needed. - The Supreme Reptile
