  1. Well, I tried to clean my old GPU with isopropyl alcohol, changed the thermal paste, but it didn't work. Found out even the HDMI on this card is broken. I bought myself Gigabyte rtx 3060 and everyrhing works fine. I only need to sell the broken one because im not in the mood to repair it or send it to repair shop. And many thanks for any help ! <3
  2. I will try to clean it and apply new thermal paste, I will keep this post updated!
  3. And since other parts seems to work just fine, I have to fix/replace the GPU first. I know I need upgrades, but at this time I even have to get a small loan from my Dad to buy a new one. And when I pay all my debts, I will replace other parts.
  4. I had my R9 390 on longer warranty. It broke once, then twice, but at the second time they changed it to a new one. Worked for around 1,5-2 years and this happened.
  5. My GPU started having artefacts after playing 4-5 hours a day for 4-5 days straight. Many different colored shapes and forms, then crash report from GPU driver. I checked my system for viruses, then reinstalled GPU drivers. After that everyrhing got worse. I cannot login to windows because of the black screen. I see only uefi screen, windows loading logo with artefacts and black screen. At the PC service they told me GPU is broken, because pc works with another one perfectly. Temperatures didn't get above 65°C
  6. I mean yes, I will try to repair it after I buy a new one, and i will either sell it or keep it
  7. My MSI R9 390 is broken and i really dont have time to "have fun" repairing it. And I will replace MB and CPU in the January/february
  8. Hi, my GPU is toasted, so I need to buy a new one. Which should be better choice? 1. Asus Dual GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming Evo OC 6GB GDDR6 2. Gainward GeForce RTX 2060 Ghost 6GB GDDR6 3. Inno3D GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER Twin X2 OC 4. Any GTX 1660 Im almost sure I will buy the Asus one. It has to be a new card, and these are the only ones available in my country at the moment that are worth to buy. And I realize that with my current setup CPU will bottleneck my new GPU. I will upgrade my PC later with some new Ryzen, mobo, memory and rest. The question is, will the new card be compatible with the rest? Will the GPU work without any problems? It will look like this: CPU : AMD FX-8350 RAM : 16GB HYPERX 1866 MOBO : MSI 970 GAMING PSU : XFX PRO 750W New GPU (probably): Asus rtx 2060 Evo oc OR Inno3D GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER Twin X2 OC
  9. I've send my PC to service, they checked it. It worked with another card normally, so my GPU is totaled...
  10. I didn't overclock my PC, ever, so apart from fan speeds everyrhing is default.
  11. After reinstalling drivers it got worse. I can barely launch to desktop. When I finally get to desktop, when I make any action, my PC freaks out, I get massive artefacts, and then black screen so I have to restart... I think I will call to my local PC service company to take a look at it, because it can be a fault of any component, even CPU, but I'm guessing its the GPU.
  12. Hi, after playing some days on my PC, today I got some kind of artefacts. On my screen shows up many different colored artefacts and after a while any game shuts down and I get a message from Radeon app: Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure. Any clues how to fix it? Is it even fixable? I've been playing a lot of Wolfenstein games on Vulkan medium settings. On idle/desktop, everything is fine, but as soon as I launch any game I get artefacts ang GPU error. My GPU temperature didn't get above 65deg C (149F), CPU below 50 (122F). I think its either a PSU error or GPU is at its end. I have PSU: XFX PRO 750W, rest of my PC specs are below.
  13. Hi everyone I have a big problem with my PC. Few days ago I played one game, and after some time I saw some atrefacts on the screen (changing colors, white stripes like those on old VHS tapes), so I checked my GPU and I found out it was fire hot at 92°C (around 195°F I guess), so I restarted my PC and everything seemed to be just fine. But after 3 days when playing an old game, not really power consuming, blackscreen showed up. After restart, uefi loaded normally, windows 10 loading screen popped up, the loading circle ended and, blackscreen again. I somehow managed to install windows 10 from the beginning, thankfully I was able to copy all my files to other HDD, but when I changed screen resolution from around 1024x768(recomended) to 1920x1080, after one minute or so, blackscreen showed up again, as well as blackscreens after starting windows. I took my GPU to the store where I bought it, because I have 3 moths of warranty left, so they will chceck if the GPU broke down or not. So what do you think? What could have happened? My guess is GPU, but I'm worried that is not the case GPU: msi R9 390 Motherboard: msi 970 gaming PSU: XFX 750 pro CPU: AMD FX-8350
  14. I play world of tanks mainly, it's the same resolution, when I alttab I get blackscreen for enternity, until I alttab again so I get back to the game, after maybe 6th or 8th time I get to desktop finally.
