Since this is the first pc i will build myself im not sure if everything is compatible and work well together,or if something else would be better for the same or lower price tag. Also any comment in general is really apreciated. Btw im sry for any mistakes made with my english, since im not a native speaker.
  3. Hello, so im planning on buying an msi gtx 970, but i dont know if my PSU will handle it or if it will damage it in some way, ive had this PSU for like 4 years and the experience has been great, no issues at all. So heres my PSU, http://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-power-supply-tr600 I really dont have a budget large enough to buy a new one(+ the gpu) so if this doesnt handle the 970 good enough il prob wont buy anything this year. Thank you for the help.
  4. whats the difference between r9 390 and r9 390X, since the 390X is like 100 USD more, is it worth it?
  5. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-power-supply-w0388ru thts my power supply
  6. i have a 650W power supply with 6 pin and 6+2 pin
  7. Hello, i was wondering if anyone could help me pick up the best (& cheaper) graphics card that can run Shadow of Mordor on highest settings at 1080p. ive never tried overclocking anything before, so i would be running default setup most likely.(im a pc newb) i like things as quiet as possible my budget is capped at 400USD but would prefer much lower if possible. Thank you very much for all the help i can get.
  8. I have a 200 dolars budget for the whole pc+ peripherals, whats the best i can get for that. Thanks again for the help.
  9. Im building a low budget pc for my son, i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a good CPU under $50 US, will not be overclocked since it will be running stock fan. (if u have a Cheap matching MOBO in mind would be nice too.) Thanks for any help i can get.
  10. Thanks, ive been doing some research and alot of ppl recomended this forum for any help so here i am. To answer your questions 1. Im not planning on overclocking, i really dont know how to and ive heard you need good cooling so it doesnt deteriorate ur devices so i would like to run everything stock. 2. Ive always had nvidia, and had great experiences with nvidia drivers so i would like to stick to it unless the price difference is really big 3. i own a 2tb hard drive dont remember the reference right now (i barely use 1tb of space anyway) 4. i own a windows licence so i dont need one Again thanks alot for all the help and the ram, someone told me over 8gb for gaming is overkill atm but ram can be easily changed/ added in the future.
  11. Hello, so as the title says im buying a new pc for myself, this would be the first pc i build myself so ive done alot of research on how everything works and i got myself a list of components listed bellow. (I already have all the peripherals i need, i currently have 1 monitor but may be upgrading to 2) I would like to know if this build is: 1. If its funcional or compatible (proccesor, MOBO, Graphics card, the cpu cooler and the tower.) this is my biggest concern since i dont really know if the graphics and the cpu cooler will fit the case and if the processor is fully compatible with the MOBO. 2. If im missing some component (again this is my first pc building experience) 3. if theres anything u would change (cheaper/same price ranges but better) 4. any suggestions/commentsin general are really apreciated. (all prices are from amazon) Processor: Intel core i5- 4690K 3.5GHZ LGA1150 $224.99 Mother Board: MSI ATX DDR3 2400 LGA1150 Motherboards Z97 PC MATE $106.86 Graphics Card: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+ $329.99 Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1 80+Gold $74.89 Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB (will also use my current hard drive) $77.99 Tower: Corsair Carbide Series Spec-02 Mid tower gaming case $46.99 CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO $27.99 RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB kit (4GBx2) DDR3 $37.49 Total: $927.17 Budget US. $1000 - $1100 (max) Btw im also a sound freak, i like everything to be as quiet as possible. My purpose with this pc is high end performance gaming (needs to run gta 5, fallout 4, and other AAA titles in ultra smoothly.) Also not planning on upgrading it (at least not anytime soon) so it has to be usefull for a good 3+ years. Again thanks alot for the help (im not a native english speaker so i apologize for any mistakes made)
