  1. hope you were not carrying any static when transfering the hardware to the new tower. sometimes its a good habit to ground yourself before doing something like this..
  2. And do check your date and time just in case as soulreaper suggested
  3. Still doesnt explain why S.M.A.R.T passed it if its the Boot Hard Disk
  4. Best tool for you http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netgear/WPN824v2/Access_Remote_PC.htm ;)
  5. Yeah like UselessBread said install a fresh copy. Not sure taking an image and putting on the SSD will garuntee to work. Youl need to fix the MBR e.t.c e.t.c and you might also have problems with drivers. Easiest route is to reinstall ;)
  6. Stock fan ? Perhaps time to replace it ? Ive seen plenty of people having issues with the stock fan making alota of noise Noctua fan ;)
  7. Sure the AC rating is set correctly ? And theres no shortage ? My suggestion, pull everything out apart from PSU, Mobo, and Ram and see if that helps. If you are saying it keeps rebooting then i dont think you need a hard disk to diagnose this problem.
  8. by the way in relation to your mobo there is a new bios fw out. you should update it as well.
  9. Thats what I mean ... coming from Linux/Mac i get the damn terminology wrong  :D
  10. Have you looked at the proc manager to see what processes are running before shutting down ?
  11. Id blame the drivers. If you have an option of formatting I'd say do a clean install. And never install 3rd party crap. Windows driver uninstall options are there for you to install the drivers safely. Alternatively the official uninstall tool is http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/catalyst-uninstall-utility.aspx Once you do that install the correct Radeon drivers. I gather your spec is AMD Radeon HD 6670 and Win 7 64 bit ?? If so this is the correct driver for it http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_win8-64.aspx and get the stable 13.4.
  12. Very old power supply isnt it ? The rails arent rated highly. If I were you Id spend a little and go for a reliable Corsair.
