  1. I see. Told him to go r9 380 712€ over gtx 960 683€. Dunno how strict his budget is. Thanks for help everyone anyway. All i wanted to get best possible hardware for his money! Final build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/GNkfqs
  2. ATM it looks like this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/7mb2XL here in finland r9 380 is like 30€ more and it will go over 700€ if i swap gtx 960 to it with this setup. toughts? Thats some random case but atleast it has front panel usb 3.0 ports.
  3. In pcpartpicker the gtx 960 cards have like 1300MHz core clock and all radeon r9 380 cards have like little under 1000, im i missing something?
  4. So no one sees anything wrong with the cpu, motherboard pair? I first took better case and pcpartpicker gave me Compatibility Check: Case has front panel USB 3.0 ports, but the MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard does not have onboard USB 3.0 headers. So i tought i would just cheapout on case too, only problem i saw with that, was that the psu isnt modular so it will be kinda mess, or you have to use some time with cable ties. But lets say hes going to order this build, maybe swap the r9 380, it wont be complete disaster?
  5. The case hes ordering doesnt have psu, i just couldnt find same case in pcpartpicker without the psu, maybe im just blind. Any reason for going r9 380 over 960? Im more nvidia fanboy myself. lol
  6. Oh i used the wrong link, thanks for telling.
  7. My friend has 700€ to put on hes gaming pc. In Finland our prices are really high and this build costs 678€ in Finland without windows or optical drive. And he wont order them from like germany like I did. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/mNzPP6 I did this kinda fast, do you have any suggestions? You think that motherboard is way too cheap for that cpu? He trusts way too much on what i say since i have pretty high end pc. Some of the parts i picked were on sale in the website he was going to order them so that affected my decisions.
  8. Well anyway you answered my question, gpu boost 2.0 was completely new thing for me. Thanks for that. Is there some nice websites where i could compare to other overclocks with same card? Im really interested how high I could get since with 100% fan speed my temps wont go over 55C and thats really cool.
  9. My temps go only up to 65C, so i could easily OC even more, but i have allready hit the afterburner/OCGuru voltage limit.(+0.0874) What would be the easiet way to go pass that, and do i have something else to worry than temperatures when using more voltages?
  10. So I was pretty disappointed when I were only able to OC my GTX 980-Ti to 1380MHz boostclock. http://puu.sh/lWvqa/2340091af4.jpg But during benchmarking I opened the sensors tab and it was showing a core clock of 1518.8MHz. http://puu.sh/lWvwT/7a105090a9.jpg So that means my GPU is running over 1500MHz clock? And if so what does the 1380 MHz then mean? Thanks!
  11. So i have 1080p monitor and 4k monitor dual setup. I would like that when i move my cursor from my screens topside to another screen it would stay at the top. I mean when my cursor is at the very top of my 1080p monitor and i move it to the 4k monitor it is like 10cm lower and i can only move my cursor from the middle of my 4k monitor to 1080p. It just hits a wall if you try to move it from the topside or bottomside. So my pc thinks my monitors are physically like this: http://puu.sh/lQuN7/ab44ad2b05.jpg Any easy fix, to like stretch the 1080p monitor.? I am using windows 10 and Nvidia videocard. Thanks.
  12. This is my 2years old build http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Zj7ZNG My GPU is acting weird. Even when im just browsing web I get a lot of those problems, you would get while benchmarking with too much overclocking. Ingame i get some problems like this: http://puu.sh/lDd3R/604dc1561e.jpg. Also ingame every now and then my gpu stops working and my pc closes the game. I have to play fallout 4 with pretty shitty graphics, and still i have to take breaks like every 2hours just becouse these problems gets bigger. (temperature only like 60celsius) I have tried to blow out the dust etc. So any idea what is wrong with it and can i fix the problem? I am anyway bying ssd soon (samsung 850 evo) and i have extra money for new GPU (gigabyte 980Ti) So is it wise to upgrade to 980Ti and samsung evo 850 with this build or will my older pc parts "bottleneck" this. Im pretty noob with this kind of stuff so i hope you would be able to help me. Feel free to suggest any other upgrades. And what do you think about 980Ti options, you prefer something else over this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn98tg1gaming6gd I posted this also in r/buildapc.T Thanks anyway. So the word for these problems is artifacting, and it means my gpu is just dying? If thats the case i guess my only question now is about the upgrade. Is it worth to buy 980Ti + ssd without changing anything else?
