  1. as you can see this was a very tight build - I am just exploring the idea of moving to something a bit larger that can spark some new creativity. I'm in zero rush to do so, but just a thought in the back of my head
  2. Hey all, wanted to share my build I completed at the beginning of this year - Already itching to move to a new case so suggestions are welcome. Feel free to ask any questions or drop a comment! 3. How is this score in everybody's opinion? Shall i push the system more? Custom Bios for the video card? Everything stable http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7357603
  4. When you overclock the x99 chip, no. Plus when games actually take advantage of more cores you will be way ahead of the game
  5. if you are using that as a basis to build your PC, you really need to do more research
  6. Love mine, plenty of room for high end Hardware
  7. honestly some of these parts are dated just a tad. You can do MUCH better for that money... go x99, 950pro, DDR4, 5820k, etc..
  8. I have a Blackiimov awp, for sale if anybody is interested
  9. That pretty high voltage for that clock speed. Im at 1.275V @4.5
  10. Good news... got the new ram, running 2666, CPU @ 4.5 1.275V, Stable. Cinebench R15 - 1333 score, max temp under full load 61c. Looks like i got a good chip!
  11. Great to hear - glad I am swapping memory. Are you on 1.02 Bios?
  12. ordered some Dom. Plat. 2666 & issued an RMA for the G-skill. I love the board & SSD, hopefully the memory swap will solve my issues
  13. I understand that, i guess my questions is will having a locked BLCK hinder in anyway my ability to achieve a good stable overclock (again depending if my chip is A+)
  14. With a locked BLCK will i still be able to achieve an overclock of 4.5 ghz? ( or around there )
