  1. Yes and yes, Some cpu overclock, even with stock cooler is preferable.
  2. windforce 3x is the best, check out the reviews!
  3. I don't even want to know what that means. You surely deserve that member rank or whatever it's called.
  4. I had an AMD rig. Phenom 2 960T, HD 7770. I was looking for an upgrade to FX 6300 when piledriver lauched. Then I saw that: I watched that multiple times, and i was like...is piledriver that bad? Actually, even Linus was not impressed at all by this architecture. Up until that: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=AMD+FX+8350 (First video from that list) The TEK recommended AMD for new builds, when everyone was throwing up at people who liked the idea of an 8 core in a gaming/multimedia PC. And now, even Overclock3D, an obvios hater of latest AMD CPUs sais this: http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/systems/amd_8350_7970_gaming_rig_review/14 Heck, even TOM"s Hardware is atracted by FX 6350 (A slightly verclocked FX6300): http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106.html I'm not a fanboy and I don't wanna be one. Last year I was a noob, I didn't know anything about IPC, TDP, L3 cache etc, so I trusted the reviewers who seemed trustable! I was educated by the people above. Like me are milions. That's why Intel did not pushed Hashell, that's why 3770K level is "enough" in their opinion!
  5. I have some Nvidia fans from Some old AGP 5500FX. I use them as a alarm sound just because anything alse does not wake me up!
  6. how about multiple sfans connected on the motherboard using splitters ? will it affect the motherboard?
  7. can you please provide the links to Logan's and Paul's videos when they say that?
  8. I'm gifted with gigabit internet, so i'm not "bottlenecked" by the internet connection.
  9. Gaming wise, i'm pretty sure i can't "feel" any difference between 100 fps and 300 on a 60hz monitor. All I realy want is your opinions on a heavy everyday coputing (lots of chrome tabs opened, pretty much all the social network clients installed and runnig.) About windows 8...it's fast but is not as fast as windows 7 when both are installed on a SSD. Especially in startups and fast multiple programs opened and closed almostt in the same time! (at least on my ex 960T and HD 7770 rig.) For reference, I use a 3600DPI mouse and I feel comfortable at maximum DPI.
  10. Let's help us out guys! post your personal invite url here! this is mine: https://copy.com?r=Q3VIOo
  11. ...I live in Romania. There will not be enough money left for an ssd. Also the chick I can date will be a bit mainstream for my taste!
  12. Please please buy the Fx 6300! it's way better for gaming than both other options due to increased L3 cache size!
  13. Gigabyte Windforce 3X 7950, a SuperFlower 650W 80+ Gold and a date with a beautiful chick!
  14. gaming included, 1080p 60hz monitor and a 7950/660ti
  15. This is an interesting scenario: Two configurations, same video card, same SSD, same amont of memory but one has an 3750k and the other has an FX 8350. Can you really figure out wich is wich without starting task manager and run any kind of benchmark or identifying tools? Yeah, and no video rendering or stuff like that. I'm sure there are plenty of users that used both platforms and subjectiveness is what interests me.
  16. http://www.guru3d.com/news_story/core_i7_4770k_haswell_review_posted_in_china.htmlI really hope you're right. And I really really hope for better OC.
  17. As i found out, haswell has 0 performance over ivy. Onboard graphics still sucks for real gaming...so i really really hope for some amd price cuts. Rebranded nvidias....bad,really bad for us all!
  18. a 7.1 native surround headset is not such a good ideea!
  19. use firefox or explorer for linus' videos.....it's actually not that hard.
  20. XFX is a good manufacturer. But we should always expect the unexpected. Maybe (I'm kinda sure of it) your current PSU can't handle that wall power fluctuation due to nonpresent/malfunctioning current filters and protection. A UPS and a new PSU, wouldn't be such a bad idea!
