i'm planning on using EK for my next build with Mayhems Pastel White.
gonna be using PETG tubing... which is gonna be fun cause its my first custom loop

sounds like the pump bearing might be out of balance... try contacting Corsair... you might be able to get it replaced

Your issue is likely the Vue fluid <3
its actually not certified to be ran more than 8 hours at a time as it will foam and fall out.

if you get the issue again then i suggest switching to a less glamorous fluid

try leaning the system whilst its on...
it only takes one bit of liquid to dislodge the bubbles / airpocket

they are designed to go both ways so not really.
remember if you do 2/3 way sli/xfire it goes in 1 side, out the other, then in from the other side on the next card.... even if you run them in parallel it will do the same :3

Pastel series is not a problem with PETG as it's glycerol based, do not use their extreme series however as that is the ethylene glycol type.

Overall with regular maintenance and fluid changes you should see no issues. It's not a bad idea to tear down the loop for cleaning if you notice any build up or residue.

White coolant doesn't readily change color as much as a red or yellow coloring, but in general if the loop was properly prepped and cleaned it won't have any issue.

I've ran Ice Dragon's Ice white for over 18 months now with no issues other than a slight greyness to the fluid, while I don't recommend doing so for longer than 12 months it doesn't seem to have any problems.

£9k is to cover getting a New Cintiq and Display aswell so... more £5k considering how much they will set me back
Currently a TR build is gonna be around £4000 but a i9 is around £3800...

At this point in time though, Intel kinda feel like they kind of Screwed up with the X299 chips  They feel like they where rushed  im kind of leaning more on TR but without decent benchmarks its kind of moot

Currently im planning on doing my build with either a
    CPU: Threadripper / Intel i9
    RAM: 32GB DDR4
    GPU's: Dual GTX1080 ti''s
    Boot/Driver/Core Software: 1tb M.2
    Storage/Library: 6TB HDD

Game coders are very few and far between... my studio is currently looking to expand our team, but finding people with the right potential is really hard (we would rather give someone an opportunity then get a seasoned expert)
if you want to get a leg up... DL UE4 and just create raw mechanics for people to play with... you will find work really fast if you don't overdo the visuals

I know people who have gotten jobs with decent pay just from creating mechanics with a basic shapes to show everything off

MzCatieB reacted to ThinkWithPortals in Mastercase series, what would you change?
    I agree, I <3 cases like this.

I just don't like the concept. To me, the Mastercase is a pretty generic looking case with few real features to set it apart from the existing case market other than customisability, which really isn't important to me. Fractal's Define series has silence, the HAF series from CM has high levels of airflow, InWin's cases are beautifully innovative, whereas the Mastercase really doesn't do much other than the whole customisability thing, which as I have said before doesn't tickle my fancy much.

TL;DR Too plain looking and not enough special features for me to consider it ATM.

So i was REALLY looking forward to getting my hands on coolermasters casemaster 5 pro but after watching several reviews and unboxing i changed my mind, not that its a horrible looking case but because of its size.

There is one thing i am most disappointed in when it comes to this case and thats its a mid tower Only (currently) i feel that a Full tower variation would be amazing,
Also allow the front/top/bottom pannels to be interchangeable (that way you can choose the angle and rotation of your motherboard) would be a nice feature (im getting somewhat bored of the standard layout options being everywhere and all the 90'/reverse mounted motherboard option cases being overly expensive (just my opinion))

Also maybe sound dampening panel replacements (for the sound conscious people out there)

like i said im still designing it, but the idea is to make the cooling box removeable to get to the i/o... reason is i feel that when the i/o is at the back it makes it annoying to plug things in and out so 90' mounting it will make things easier, but i want to move the hot air away faster so thats where the cooling box comes in.

im still roughing things together then will refine everything after i get it all together

    idle isnt the problem
Rendering can take a few days just for a few seconds of animations so headroom will mean comfort when i render for days at a time

tbh i could just stick with the 850w till i get a second card then get a 1200i just for the extra flex space

i suggest changing the case to a HAF stacker, its allot more future proof compared to the Storm trooper and is around the same cost
also change your CPU to the 5820k as the cost difference is massive but with very little Performance drop (3D graphics acceleration from the GPU is significantly more viable for 3D graphics rendering) and with the saving from that get your self a 980 and up your PSU to a AX1200i so you dont have to upgrade it in the future.
overall you should save a little from it and have allot better performance.

(This is the general setup my Studio used on the 3D graphics riggs, but we offload all are Rendering and baking to the render Farm, However when the Renderfarm is in Use we are fully capable of Rendering graphics at are workstations with no problems)
