  1. But I already had the windows 10 legal version, I don't have the key.
  2. I was running windows 8.1 before, got a notification that I can upgrade to windows 10, so I did and it worked perfectly. Now I had to downgrade to windows 8.1 again for certain reasons and now again I want to install windows 10. Do I need a windows 10 product key or will windows automatically detect my hardware and activate it?
  3. Just add a new folder to steam, when installing games it will ask you where you want to install it.
  4. This laptop isn't really meant for gaming, but still it has really good specs, for ex. before I could play team fortress 2 on max, now I barely do it on low settings, and remember that game uses the counter strike: source's engine.
  5. But still I have high temps even while doing the light stuff, I can feel it!
  6. I mentioned that I opened it, for those 2 years, there is almost no dust, and about the thermal paste idk if I could do that.
  7. I have a HP ProBook 455 G1 with an amd a8-4500m cpu, 8gb ram and radeon hd 8750m gpu. I have the laptop for more than 2 years. At first it was great played a lot of games no problem. But now even smaller games can't really good and for some games it even overheats to the point of shut down, even for smaller games. I downloaded hw monitor and it shows these temps: Those are really really high temps, and I don't really believe those are correct, but I could even accept those temps as real looking at how my laptop is currently running. Even when browsing the web sometimes the fan go really loud, and they are always loud when doing some heavy tasks. Games are probably running like crap because the cpu is capped. And even on touch it gets really hot and sometimes I can't even touch the heatsink. I checked the insides and it's clean, barely any dust on the fan or anywhere else. And it's a pain to reinstall the os since without drivers it shuts down in 10 minutes, so it's hard to install drivers, and I even have a problem with drivers cause I need to install drivers for the discrete gpu but it doesn't allow me, saying I can't install that driver for my integrated gpu. Is there any fixes for this?
  8. @JuztBe Try to restart the explorer. Open task manager find windows explorer and restart it.
  9. @JuztBe I guess the only thing you can do now is enable auto-hide taskbar.
  10. @JuztBe I had the same problem before the anniversary update, it just stopped doing that after a couple of days, i still don't know that caused that or what fixed it.
  11. Straight from apple's website: http://www.apple.com/shop/product/HHM22ZM/B/belkin-audio-splitter-35mm-m-2x35mm-f
  12. DRY(Don't repeat yourself) If you are doing same thing at least twice, you are doing it wrong.
  13. If you are just a casual gamer and don't need the refresh rates and want better looking color, get the IPS.
  14. You would need at least a GTX 970 in SLI which is going to cost about 700$, and you also need a better, i5-4690k could do the job.
  15. With that cpu and 200-300$ GPU you aren't even close to getting to 4k.
  16. That pc supports up to 24GB 1333MHz ecc and non ecc in 6 memory slots, so you should be fine with that. http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/4/636274
  17. What is the most demanding game of 2016? If you can run that game, you can run everything, just like Crysis 3. Or does Crysis 3 still holds that title?
  18. After considering your suggestions: i5-6400 Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 HyperX Fury black 2x4GB DDR4 2133MHz(hyperx are the only ram sticks for ddr4 I could find) XFX Radeon RX460 2GB Same hdd Same case Dropped the ips monitor, chose the 21.5" Benq GW2270 Can't decide on the psu, all are some crappy branded psu's. The price will be the same without the psu, with the psu probably 50$ higher.
  19. Yeah we have APU's, but I don't think they are worth it.
