I have a HP ProBook 455 G1 with an amd a8-4500m cpu, 8gb ram and radeon hd 8750m gpu.
I have the laptop for more than 2 years. At first it was great played a lot of games no problem. But now even smaller games can't really good and for some games it even overheats to the point of shut down, even for smaller games. I downloaded hw monitor and it shows these temps:
Those are really really high temps, and I don't really believe those are correct, but I could even accept those temps as real looking at how my laptop is currently running.
Even when browsing the web sometimes the fan go really loud, and they are always loud when doing some heavy tasks. Games are probably running like crap because the cpu is capped. And even on touch it gets really hot and sometimes I can't even touch the heatsink. I checked the insides and it's clean, barely any dust on the fan or anywhere else.
And it's a pain to reinstall the os since without drivers it shuts down in 10 minutes, so it's hard to install drivers, and I even have a problem with drivers cause I need to install drivers for the discrete gpu but it doesn't allow me, saying I can't install that driver for my integrated gpu.
Is there any fixes for this?
