Is this what your referring to here? I bought it for redundancy for my movies so I won't loose them on my Plex server.

I guess I could try that. I'd have to start over though if I setup Raid via hareware then I'll have to re-install windows though.

Hello all, I'm trying to setup raid 5 for the first time on my Windows 10 Pro version machine. When I go into diskmgmt RAID 5 is grayed out. I also tried using "Storage Spaces" via control panel but receive an error when trying to make an array. Any thoughts? Screenshot of Storage Spaces error.

Yeah that's what I was thinking and make some 6 inch patch cables.

I plan on making shorter cables but any suggestions on where I just mount my patch panel and switch? https://imgur.com/gallery/cdZ5JXc

Hello all, So all of my movies are located in C:\Media and I would like to pull the movie files out of the folder that it's into the root of C:\Media. Possibly a batch file or cmd command would be awesome if anyone knows ones.

I mean I wouldn't mind some advanced features, but plug and play sounds nice.

Hello all, I've never owned a switch before just mostly wireless routers. I'm looking for a 8+ port switch that's user friendly but at the same time I can learn from it. I'm kind of a ASUS fan boy since most of my routers have been that brand. Any suggestions would be great. My budget is 200 or less, maybe 250 if it's the perfect fit.

Awesome, I'll give it a go.

Thanks for all the good feedback. I ended up ordering a Maxpedition bag, I've always been a fan of there EDC(everyday carry) bags. I didn't know they had tech ones. Maxpedition Unisex Skyridge Bag - Skrgry https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X6H91KF/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think I might get this one. Aezakmi's seems like a nice bag to.

Sweet, thanks for the list. Only thing else I carry is a roll of velcro.

I just feel like it's not enough space for all my tools.

Hello community. I'm a newly IT field technician and I would like to find a really good bag that isn't too huge but accommodates what I need it for:Hand tools - Service techs know that you don't need a lot of tools. Hell, most jobs can be done with one screwdriver, but I'd like space for a couple of them, a multi-meter, ethernet crimper, and maybe a few other miscellaneous tools I might need. Laptop. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a netbook instead of a laptop computer. I don't need to do a lot with it, so a netbook will do fine. I would like my bag to have a spot for a netbook. Paperwork. I would like a bag that has another slot for paperwork, something that can hold a full-size sheet of paper/folders and a receipt book. These are the requirements I have. Some of my co-workers have multiple bags, for tools and paperwork and it seems like a big hassle. My boss has a bag like I am describing but there's some stuff that I don't like about it. Basically, I have no idea where to go to look for a bag like this. If you are in this profession, What bag do you use? Do you like it? Where can I get one? Note: Currently I have a dell backpack, it's really not meeting all my needs.

I will try this after work, thanks for all the awesome support!

Yes, I did assign it a static IP address a couple months ago. Should I put that static IP address as reserved via my router? My printer also has a static IP address as well.
