if i turn it on and off veru quickly then the settings remain but if it goes longer, lets say around 5 minutes then it resets. So it might be the battery then? because if it was the memory it should wipe instantly when turned off?

Hello! I've got a Sony STR-DE445 and everytime I unplug the power from it, it starts a demo mode when I plug it back in, is there any way to remove the demo mode all-together? It never used to be like this, I used to be able to unplug it from the wall and when I plugged it back in it stayed on the mode it was before I turned it off..

I've got this monitor: https://www.inet.se/produkt/2218993/lg-27-ultragear-27gp850-qhd-nano-ips-180-hz and sometimes when im playing games the screen goes black for a few seconds and then comes back. The screen does not disconnect from the pc, it just flashes black This happens at random intervals. Sometimes several times during one night and sometimes it can go weeks without issues.. I've tried updating my gpu drivers, updating the monitor, changed display cables, disabled g-sync, changed refresh rate and switched outlet for the monitor but the issue is still there.. any advice on what to do? The issue ONLY happens while gaming, never when just watching movies or surfing the web..

I've got an old windows 10 tablet that i would like to put on my wall to show my schedule and news, is there any way to make it so the tablet unlocks at a certain time and then locks itself at a certain time without needing me to touch it? I would for example like it to unlock at 7:00 in the morning and then lock at 22:00 at night.. any advice? (posted in the wrong category but don't know how to change....)

Haha, a real time machine sure would be great! Does macrium backup regularly or do i have to remember to backup my drive once a week myself? I have my own NAS so I save it there then

So this software mirrors everything? so if my drive fails I can just pop the backup-drive in and im good to go again?

Hello! I've worked with quite a few Macbooks and I've always enjoyed the smooth process of backing up and restoring with Time Machine and I'm wondering if there is anything equivalent on Windows? I know that Windows has the "file history" thing but when I tried using it a while back it did not work at all.. Is there any software that can backup my entire drive to the cloud or an external drive from which I could restore everything to the way it was if my C: Drive would die?

Sorry for the very late reply! I bought the LG Ultragear 27GP850, and it's nice but I dont know if it is as amazing as I thought an upgrade would be lol.. Budget was around 4-500 dollars but can go up to 600 if it's worth it.. My PC components are I7-6700K, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD. I play games and watch movies / shows so something versatile would be good. The games I mostly play are Leauge of Legends and battlefield 4 or 2042 and a bit of GTA V. Let me know if you need more info!

But do you think IPS is the way to go? i see that VA Panels have much better contrast which to me sounds like better picture quality?

That does look similar to the one I linked.. But the Acer does have RGB and speakers but that might just be unnecessary features that i think i need but actually dont

Hello! I've been using my BenQ XL2430T for about 6-7 years now and it has been great but now it is time to get something better. The colors of the BenQ were really off and it has never really satisfied me.. so now black friday is coming up and I found this monitor: https://www.inet.se/produkt/2218733/acer-27-predator-xb273unv-qhd-ips-170-hz-rgb-bf21#specifikationer on paper it seems really nice, high refresh rate, 1440p, HDR. It looks solid to me but I would appreciate your help in deciding whether or not this is a good choice?

I've never been a fan of mac, used it a couple of times but it's not for me, I'm sure the M1 is a great chip but I'll go with windows for this I will take a look at the ones you mentioned!

the requirements were quite vague, "newer i5 and 8gb of RAM should do the trick".... so the lenovo should be just fine in terms of performance since it outperforms many i5 cpus

I don't have much info regarding specs, My thought was that any computer with decent specs should work. I do have a gaming PC at home with decent specs that should work if I need more "horse power"..

Hello! In a couple of weeks I will start studying and I would need to get a notebook for it. There will be a couple of courses in programming, one with C# and a few courses that will involve photoshop / illustrator so I would need something that can handle it without any issues! Hello! I want new speakers for my pc, the old ones needs an amp and long cables which I dislike... Do you guys have any recommendations on new speakers for the pc? i would prefer speakers with minimum amount of cables going to the pc.. something like a set of wireless speakers with a reciever that you plug into the 3.5mm in the motherboard would be cool.. any suggestions? budget around 2-300$

Just ordered the 55" q90t! hopefully it wont be too small for me, i sit about 1.5m away so it should be fine!

The Tv wont be used as a main monitor so it doesn't have to be perfect in that regard.. i will stream the pc from time to time but not all the time so it will most likely be fine
