  1. I know it's non-sense. But disk management sucks. That partition with the letter F: was grayed out
  2. It depends. If you are mainly playing games, then no, get a 8700K or wait for 9700K or something, it's coming. Or get an AMD, it's cheaper and you can use the excess cash that you would have spent on 9900K and get a new CPU. AM4 is a new platform and AMD will keep supporting it down the road. 9900K just doesn't deliver a great value and efficiency. Future-proofing is a joke
  3. sure, i'll try and reply to you in a couple of minutes Windows is just stupid sometimes
  4. I checked my boot drive (:C) it was MBR. Do I need to format the USB drive for it have MBR?
  5. My Rufus config is set to UEFI(no CSM) + GPT. BIOS settings are Legacy+UEFI booting Tried with NTFS and FAT32 neither works. At least NTFS got me the error
  6. Windows is stupid and I'm stupid. This combination creates a mess. Please help I've got time
  7. It's a long story but I'll try to keep it short. I have a hard drive from an old laptop, I plugged it into my new desktop, which already included 2 hard drives on it. It does have a Windows file(like a boot drive). It was ok it was just that I couldn't delete them. Yesterday, just after cleaning that PC and having it on, it appears that there is another drive (:F) that is...Local Disk, next to the (C:) Local Disk. It became confusing so I decided to reinstall Windows 10 but when I'm creating a boot drive using MCT -> it gives an error. I tried to use Rufus and got it to work but then i'm not able to boot into it. It was the error 0xc000000e(blue screen) I went ahead and use some BCD on that laptop drive and BCD found another operating system that operates on that drive. I'm not able to delete that partition or boot into USB to manually get rid of all the files on that disk Any solution? Love you & thanks all
  8. And if I only have 1 intake and 1 exhaust, is it ok to have a tower cooler or topdown?
  9. There is no direct airflow for CPU tho...
  10. And also, is it ok to left out the fan for HDD cage?. Since I plan on using 1 only And go with the bottom fan mount for more direct airflow to the graphics card? (Assume that i'm going with the tower CPU cooler)
  11. Hi guys! I'm picking up a Corsair Carbide 200R for my new PC But it seems that the case cooling is quite...idiot-ic I'm thinking of have 2 front intake, 1 exhaust at the back, 1 at the top. 1 at the CPU area as intake. With a top-down CPU cooling But I also love the tower CPU cooler. Maybe with 2 fans at the front. 2 exhaust at the back. Taking black hard paper to cover ventilation holes Which works better, with an i5 Ivy Bridge and a 1060 3GB Thanks for helping me out
  12. Thanks. I'll reach to other options
  13. Hi guys! A Windforce GTX1060 3GB recommended a 400W PSU to run I planned on using a Corsair VS400(white sticker) to powet it, but I still want to squeeze i little bit of power from that bad boy I found out that with the power consumption of the 1060 and a 3570 is around 230W on the +12V rail, which is about 60% the load of the VS400. Can I get little faster with ~+100 on the core and +500 on the mem with that PSU. Thanks!
  14. thanks guys. I'll get the 1060
  15. Wow ...i'll might be using that card for roughly 3 years at max tho
