  5. compare to games instead and not benchmarks... but i would say yes... the 4690K could be an issue... i had that very same CPU and i noticed several games getting my CPU to 100% load... I changed to ryzen instead. quad core cpu's just doesnt cut it anymore imo... need 6 core minimum
  6. R7 1700 would be fine then you would have 4c/8threads for each gamer
  7. Hello Everyone! I need help with selecting a NAS server etc from QNAP, synology or some other brand that has the following features.. Support for 5+ disks Support for "plex server" able to run 4K video's - possible multiple streams Support for "Torrent client" Support for "Couchpotato" movie downloader - if possible Support for "sonarr" tv series downloader - if possible Support for minimum raid either 0, 1, 5 - more would be nice I don't really care about any other features that a typical NAS box support. Anyone have some good idea's for a NAS for the above?
  8. RAM issues is fixed with the new AGESA cpu micro code update..
  9. UEFI is the new standard, don't use legacy bios
  10. If you changed motherboard, but with the old OS on the HDD.. i suggest you to reinstall your OS.. as drivers may conflict and be the root cause of this.
  11. Did you reinstall windows after this or did you continue with the same OS installed on your SSD/HDD?
  12. did you update a driver or added new hardware into the computer?
  13. First, learn how to build a computer. And no It's not hard to overclock. Extreme overclocking, yes but that also requires a bunch more requirements... But a basic overclock etc from 3.0ghz to 3.9 - does not require any special requirements other than a multiper that needs to be changed and cpu voltage.. and ofc the proper cooling.. I suggest all-in-one watercooling for your first build. that's the basic.... And watch youtube video's from Linus, Jay or any other tech channel's you like about overclocking a CPU and you get the idea of what needs to be done.... Etc google what other people are able to OC your CPU to aswell.. to get a basic idea of how far you can push your CPU...
  14. use a FTP program... or use your browser... with ftp://YOUR-IP-ADDRESS-HERE (make sure you have port forwarded 20+21 in your router... And yes will will only "upload"
  15. yea.. i suspected it might had to be RMA'ed... but i still wanted to give it a extra shot from other tech heads :-)
  16. Hello fellow tech heads... I'm facing a issue with a ASUS X99-A/usb 3.1 motherboard, not posting when PCIE1 slot has a GFX card attached to it.. So the gfx card is in slot 3.. but only runs at 8X speed... I check cables, made sure no dust or anything is in the pcie slot... bios is fully updated and default settings. but still facing the issue of when gfx is put into pcie slot 1 i get red light vga led, and no posting... but if i reseat the card into slot 3 it's working...
  17. in ryzen master you have to set up your OC, save the profile... after reboot you can reload the profile which had all your settings... Ryzen master does not currently automatically load your OC profile... If you want a permanent OC all the time you have to do it from the BIOS
  18. He properly just need to fix his CPU load line calibration
  19. You can move your win10 key to new hardware yes... I did it myself... google it as you need to make sure to connect the key to your account....
  20. They are already being shipped multiple places in the world.. however.. i dont think there's alot of them... or theres a huge backorder i dont know.. But i have seen multiple people getting the cards... and also personally have a friend just recieved his card... However retailers say they will recieve he item on a expected date... however when they DO recieved them.. they are already out of stuck due to they only recieved a low amount of cards or huge backorder.. so they are already out again and are expecting new cards on a later date.... thats propperly the reason for the never ending "expected delivery date" to bounce up and down all the time...
  21. I got 1700 @ 3.9ghz with b350 mobo... all working perfectly.. and 100% much less costly compared to the 1700x + 1800x..
