  1. XPS 15 has far better battery, better construction (imo), and touchscreen. Ghost pro has a better keyboard, far better gpu (970m vs 960m). I saw both in person and I'm really digging the Dell just for the Infinity display, glass trackpad, and the carbon fiber palm rest... You're pretty much comparing a desktop replacement gaming laptop to a ultrabook.
  2. I've undervolted and disabled turbo. I didnt see any drop in performance and my laptop ran much cooler and quieter. That's just from my experience of course.
  3. I bought the 2014 refurb blade 14 with 870m. Had to return it twice. Their CS is pretty understandable and they rely within 1 buisness day. I returned it due to bad battery, then a stuck pixel with yellow verticle line on the display. It was too much of a frustration especially when I had to pay for shipping for a refund. (free when I asked for a replacement)
  4. Hi there guys. Was thinking to pick up a gaming laptop for travel and slight gaming on the road or outside home. I'm trying to keep it under 1200 usd and preferably thin and light, good build quality, and with an ips panel. Thanks! http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16834234041 Asusg501vw http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16834261109 Hp Omen http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16834234023 Asus k501ux http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16834154105 Msi gs70
  5. Clearance for ~90usd I did consider this for a while, but I read that that the material used on the mouse peels easily.
  6. My local best buy have a Death adder and the Ouroboros gaming mice on clearance. I want to pick one of these up to pair it with my Blade 14.. I currently own a g502, g600, and a g602 but I want to match the Blade with a Razer mouse . I got a chance to play with a Deathadder chroma and had a hard time trying to figure out how to hold it comfortably. Will it be worth it to pick one of these mice up? All replies are appreciated!
  7. K70 Non RGB . Razer have a few neat keyboards listed on their blackfriday sale as well.
  8. The Blackwidow keyboards, the Deathadder, and the Razer Blade are the only Razer products worth mentioning. They're probably the three most popular products selling from Razer. I personally owned two Blackwidows, a DA Chroma, and the Blade 14. Only issue I came to was on my Blackwidow 2014 where one key would input twice when pressed once (though I'm sure its an issue with mechanical keyboards in general).
  9. Yes, Every button besides left and right click mouse buttons are programmable to any key/function/shortcuts.
  10. Winter is coming, I don't see why not. JK. I agree with others. From a 270x, you will see a huge improvement with a r9 390. You can find a few GTX 970 for a little bit more. AMD Crossfire Support is still young...
  11. G502. Best overall mouse for general use, Moba or FPS gaming, and editing. It's a huge upgrade coming from a regular laser mouse or any other gaming mice. The sensor is damn near perfect. The size of the mouse is quite narrow and made my hand crampped for the first few days. I thought that was a deal breaker so I ended up returning it. Butx later rebought it because I simply CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT.
  12. BillMeLater is now "Paypal Credit". Just wanted to point that out. Last time I checked, Newegg ditched it as they are now selling their own line of credit cards. The interest rates and feed will vary. Its essentially an "e-credit card".
  13. Both build looks neat. I personally live Corsair and Asus components. If I had to choose between the two, I'd pick option one though I'll probably drop the sound card(you can grab a better one later down the road) and pick up a closed loop cpu cooler instead. You can't go wrong with either.
  14. Yeah, get a GTX 970..Newegg has a promo where you can save an extra 25 if you purchase via VisaCheckout. A 970 will last you for a very long time if all you're doing is 1080p gaming.
