  1. Hello i have the BenQ monitor you're looking to buy. I'm not one to complain about colors especially since i was upgrading from a 60 dollar monitor before. But the colors on the benQ out of the box are dreadful, but once messed with a bit its beautiful. The 144hz won't instantly make you KennyS or anything but its a nice upgrade and its noticeable. I would recommend if you have the budget for it. Any questions feel free to ask.
  2. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=9193563&sku=RSC-102598685 I'm getting a 25 dollar discount from here and 100 dollar discount from my bank.
  3. Thanks for the response guys. I know that pascal will be a massive leap especially with it being rumored to have 16gb up to 32 Gb Vram or so and that NVlink technology. I know that the gtx 980 is considered "obsolete". But considering im getting it for the price of a normal 970 it has an appeal to me. If the 980 can't get 144 fps on 1080p what gpu can? I'd prefer to stick with Nvidia as i have had better experience with them.
  4. I have slowly been upgrading my gaming rig since i built it in 2010, Currently i have a gtx 670 which is showing its age with games i've been playing lately. I only play on 1080p however i have a 144hz monitor so having 144 fps would be a nice change so i can truly experience 144hz on games other than CS GO. I'm looking to buy a GTX 980 because its currently on sale and with discounts i can pick it up for 310 dollars and i can pick up a gtx 970 for 250-260 dollars. Should i upgrade or wait for pascal next year Q2? I wouldn't mind waiting but getting these huge discounts have me thinking.
