  1. Hello, so I got an ssd and wanted to reinstall windows. So I took my old HDD and put it in after the install and now I have a drive called System Reserved. I don't know what it is or why it is there. Any help will be appreciated. http://imgur.com/ZEK6ZRO
  2. OK so it looks like I'm shouldn't use a paint brush for fans and not electric items and use air for everything else. Thanks for the replies and have a good day!
  3. it looked like a real paint brush in his video look at 2:29 Edit: what about the fans on my GPU?
  4. Ya I'm just thinking for my fans and my CPU heat sink (if necessary). But thanks for the replies!
  5. Hello, so I wanted to know if I can/should use a paint brush for cleaning my PC. I was planning on getting some compressed air cans but I have a hard time cleaning my fans. Is there anything I should look for if I do use a pain brush or some kind of brush. Or if you know of some good cleaning tips I would be glad to hear them. Thanks and any help is welcomed!
  6. I plan on getting one very soon. Just go to get off my butt to get it. Want to see what everyone is talking about. (I just want to be apart of the SSD group)
  7. Well thanks for chiming in. I'll probably go with the Samsung unless something happens. Thanks everyone.
  8. Any help with my question? I don't know how much of a speed boost the 840 evo will have over the m500
  9. Tha's' from what I heard. I'm not expert when it comes to paste
  10. did you set up that case fans correctly. intake with exhaust? I think some thermal pastes take time to become "perfect" and did you install it correctly with even pressure on all sides.
  11. well did you do the common things? Update drivers, temps ok, did you try other presets.
  12. Thanks for then suggestions. I have been looking at the 840 evo and it looks good. I was also looking at the Crucial M500 (240gb) The place im going to buy at has the 840 evo (240gb) at $170 and the 120gb version at $100. The crucial drive is $120, so I don't know if speed is worth paying 50 dollars more to get more space. What do you guys think.
  13. Hello everybody. I know there are a lot of questions asking "what SSD should I get for (insert use)". The thing is that I have seen a lot of videos by tech reviews on SSD and I know nothing about them. I've have been looking for a SSD for some time now and going to buy on this month. i just want to but windows on it and games that I will always have (tf2,cs:go,lol ,starcraft ,etc). I have max of 150 USD and don't really care where you find it. I don't know if I should get a really fast SSD or something that will last a long time. I just know nothing when it comes to storage. If you can help, please respond. Thanks for helping!
  14. For AMD I use the TIMPIN for the temps. I used the BIOS to find out which was the closest and those were closest. My 8320 on HWM says 12 degrees C while TIMPIN says 30 degrees C at idle. AMD has the worst heat sensors Edit: I saw your pics and could you put another fan on the 212 evo and see if that does anything?
  15. almost the same build. How did you like working with/in the case because I had a hard time with cable management with my Tempest 210.
  16. Well good for you getting those new parts. I'm turning 15 this summer and I feel you with the lack of money/job. I still got my PC. Have fun waiting for the parts!
  17. I like the color scheme here. The case was colored to be this way and you choose good components to match it. Good job!
  18. Ah, I didn't think that sandpaper could polish stuff.
  19. did you polish it or did the sandpaper do that. Either way the transformation is cool!
  20. I like the mid plate idea. I don't see that on ITX builds as much. It is a cool idea to have very little tubing.
  21. I love that sparkle on the outside. Wouldn't do that to my case because no one would see it.
  22. Those SSD looks so cool and good job getting the sponsor!
  23. Ya there should be one with each GPU so you should have 2. I guess ask MSI for one.
