  1. You have 600 times faster internet than me Fire up a download & see what speeds u get. Speedtest isn't always accurate.
  2. Linksys e1200 is a good entry level router. The wireless performance is decent for smartphones & tablets. For gaming, connect ethernet cables from router to Computer. No configuration required.
  3. As the title suggests, I am looking for a custom firmware for my router. So far I've found that DD-WRT doesn't have it. I saw an un-official tomato build, but there are no comments if it actually works or not. If anyone here is using the same router or someone knows about this matter, kindly redirect me to my destination. The second question : The router has two internal antennas. Would it benefit to mod the router & have external high gain antennas? Thank you.
  4. I have that same CPU & the CPU will bottleneck anything above R9 270. If you plan on upgrading the CPU in few months then fine, get the 280X. For a power supply, 550W is more than enough. Seasonic 550RM gets a nod.
  5. Get the Seasonic G-650/550. Better than the CX. Also, you don't need a 750W for that rig.
  6. Never buy cheap/crappy PSUs. A good 550W like the Seasonic 550RM will do.
  7. The CX might be the culprit for fps drop. Never cheap out on a PSU if you have the budget.
  8. The top tier models are good. If you want something mid-low tier, avoid EVGA.
  9. Excellent unit. But 3-way & 8350 will leave no headroom. Get the 1000W variant. Other options include Supernova 1000, HX1000i.
  10. A quality 600W would be enough if you dont plan to SLI. Seasonic 660XP2, Seasonic G-650 If you plan to add another 780, EVGA Supernova 850 G2, Hx850i.
  11. You spend $1100 on the rig & only $50 on the PSU? A crappy PSU can take your entire rig with it. There aren't any good modular ones under $50. Is it a gaming or editing rig? Looks neither to me.
  12. A quality 500W PSU is more than enough. Not sure about that zalman unit. If you're going to buy that unit, don't! Go for a seasonic 550RM.
