  1. When I upgraded to the Creators Update, I have noticed that the Recovery partition of my hard drive reads 13% fragmented. I have tried defragmenting it, but nothing happens. Having mild OCD, how do I remedy this?
  2. What are the best Dell Audio settings for music and for watching YouTube videos?
  3. I'm in the market for my first camera. Equal priority to photo and video quality and features, since we shoot video projects for school but I also want to take an interest in basic photography. DSLR or mirrorless, it doesn't matter. I'll be sticking with the basic kit lens for a while until I got all the basics of photography and cinematography covered. I'm looking at the Nikon D3300, Nikon D3400, Nikon D5300, Sony a5100, and Canon 700D. Can anyone suggest better alternatives?
  4. Oh so my Action Center is fine then Thanks for the help!
  5. It would be less of a hassle if it was integrated into the Action Center by default Thanks for the help, though I'll ask Microsoft Support
  6. Download the latest Windows 10 ISO with the Creators Update and clean install using that
  7. I read that the Creators Update will offer the much-needed brightness slider within the Action Center. However, after the update, I still don't see it. Am I missing something?
  8. I use Windows Search rarely to look for files. However, I use the search feature on the Start menu to look for programs such as Control Panel, Disk Cleanup, cmd, Defrag, etc. Before the Creators Update, Start menu searches were slow as hell for some reason. But after that they are now lightning fast. So should I enable or disable indexing?
  9. My laptop is now downloading the Windows 10 Creators Update. It's a huge update, and I'm quite worried that it will reach the daily throttle limit that my ISP has set on my plan. If it does, can I cancel the update and resume downloading tomorrow? Will the download pick up where it left off, or would I have to download the whole thing again?
  10. Also, is it okay if the model of RAM isn't the same as the one currently installed? I currently have an SK hynix one. I've read on PC build forums that RAM should be the exact same model, as much as possible.
  11. I'm a student and I've saved up enough money to bump up my laptop's RAM to 8 GB. For brand new, here's the link: http://www.lazada.com.ph/kingston-value-ram-4gb-1600mhz-pc3-12800-ddr3l-135v-non-ecc-cl11sodimm-1rx8-laptop-memory-ram-4391005.html Plus a voucher that would slash Php 100 off, buying this stick of RAM would eat up all of my allowance savings (I'm poor, I know). Shipping is free, though. Here's the link for a secondhand product: https://www.olx.ph/item/samsung-4gb-ddr3l-1600mhz-1-35v-low-voltage-laptop-ram-ID7U9Am.html?h=bc23a75a15 Plus a ~Php 150-shipping fee, I would spend about PHP 1,000 for this, making me save about PHP 600. Is it worth the extra money to buy brand new? Or should I save the money and buy used?
  12. I'm looking to do a clean install of Windows 10 Pro since my current one is running a bit slow. I want to keep everything that I have right now: files, installed programs, preferences, etc. What can I use to backup all of these and restore them just the way that they were before formatting?
  13. Our internet is crap right now so I can't download the file. I gotta install Windows 7 first
  14. But would it work if I did a clean install of Windows 7 and upgraded to Windows 10 Pro?
  15. I'm running Windows 10 Home on my laptop and I have a spare copy of Windows 7 Pro with a key lying around. If I do a clean install of Win 7 Pro, would I be able to upgrade to a genuine copy of Windows 10 Pro?
  16. I'm looking to reinstall my copy of Windows 10 since it's been running sluggishly as of late. I want to keep everything that I have right now: files, installed programs, preferences, etc. What can I use to backup all of these and restore them just the way they were before formatting, right after I clean install the OS?
