  1. Thanks, I'll take a look at this in more detail. I saw you added a 1000w PSU, do you think I need more than the 850 I have with the i9+ 7900XT/7900XTX?
  2. For the first build I was looking at the higher end parts as I only do builds every 7-10 years for myself. I'm also only considering the MB if I can get a discount on it and the card is also still up in the air depending on benchmarks.

I have a few components I am planning to take from the old build like the PSU if it fits in the new case and I am still debating between 2/3 screens or an ultra wide. Also, if there are recommendations outside of the builds I am not opposed to hearing that or mixing between the two builds. 4. Sorry, accidentally put this in the wrong forum. Can this be deleted or if there is a way I can do it?

  6. Hi, I'm looking for a laptop recommendations for my brother who needs it for programming. He currently uses a Surface Pro 3 and it seems to be overheating every time he runs multiple applications (i.e. video conferencing, visual studio, developer/server). With a maximum budget of $1200 what would be the best option to buy currently?
  7. I just checked newegg and amazon, but those don't include VAT in them and they have a delivery fee. The KSP website has VAT included, so it seems to be the same exact prices.
  8. I believe it comes out the same due to delivery. The Eilat prices have no tax attached to them.
  9. I was looking into the i9 9900k but wasn't sure if that's overkill and it might put me outside my budget.
  10. Its a completely new build aside from peripherals and monitor.
  11. I was using pcpartpicker with most places shipping international. ksp.co.il is a local online store, been mainly using google translate on chrome to get it in English.
  12. Hi, I am planning on building an editing machine and looking for recommendations on a build that will mainly be used for After Effects, Photoshop and perhaps Unity work. With a current budget around $1000-$2000 ($1500 being ideal), what would be the most efficient parts to get. Edit: Looking for CPU, CPU Cooler, GPU, RAM, Storage, PUS and Case.
  13. Yes, that's what I am looking for as the two 1080 ti's are currently in SLI, but if we had for example another GPU (2080 ti) if we can technically use it for different/specific programs such as computer vision and machine learning.
  14. There are a total of 7 on the board, unless I am mistaking what you are saying. 4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (dual x16 or quad x8) *22 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (dual x16) *21 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (dual x8) *2
  15. I'm looking to confirm whether its possible to run two different SLI setups for similar and even different applications. I currently have the Asus Z10PE-D8 WS motherboard (https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z10PED8_WS/) that supports 4 way SLI with two Nvidia GTX 1080 ti's currently running in SLI. In this setup would it be possible to buy anything other than another pair of 1080 ti's to get the machine more power, i.e. run another set of cards in SLI in addition to the two I have in SLI currently running different programs. I've read that you can run different cards with crossfire, but wasn't sure if Nvidia allowed it with DX12.
  16. Anyone have brightness issues after the update, seems that brightness level at the highest level is dim.
  17. Wouldn't you need to put in more money for such a setup?
  18. Are TPM modules usually included with the PC if it gives me the option to turn on BitLocker? I just checked and it shows I do not have a TPM on this computer, unless there's an option to turn it on in the BIOS.
  19. Hello, I am curious to know if there is any reason to use BitLocker on my PC and if it offers any advantages to not turning it on.
  20. Is it better to do a clean install or just update from anniversary edition?
  21. USD, I'll let them know the RX 480 or 470 is his best route. Don't they cost the same?
