  1. Wood or mount it under a table/desk
  2. Do you have another gpu you could try in the rig? or perhaps a psu?
  3. OC as in over clocked. but i'll take that as a no well the live os rules out the hdd and a non-firmware virus Have you swapped any parts like ram or tried it with out the gpu?
  4. OC? Virus scans? Boot from a live OS?
  5. If its wired. this should suit your need since 10/100/1000 ethernet is common, but again the pi doesn't support gig only 100 http://www.amazon.com/8-Port-Gigabit-Switch-GX-D1081-V2/dp/B005LPLPRQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1459120964&sr=1-3&keywords=network+switch&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_browse-bin%3A4781615011%2C4091274011 If you need a router for wifi not just wired. this is probably the fastest in that budget http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BR3ZYIW
  6. 10 or 7 all day, I'd rather use ReactOS than win8.
  7. Try minitools partition wizard free edition or another disk/part utility.
  8. Thats it actually. Buy the key and the cd or buy the key and download the free iso do install it.
  9. What you describe is raid 0, but that would limit you to hdd speeds with 480gb of space. instead Install the OS and programs on the ssd and then store everything else on the hdd, google some how to's because the'l help you more than us riting out quick tips.
  10. I've had the same issue, I just close out and re-open the page http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jwGQ8d thoughts on this one? more power, less storage but that gives way to the ssd later.
  11. Actually I'll amend to this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jwGQ8d later double crossfire and add more storage but this hdd should last at least a year and the cpu cranks out more
  12. For light gaming the speeds of the apu wwill be more limiting that the drive speeds It most likely is the same gpu base, but itd be more economic per metaphorical fps to just double sli in the future. Since any gpu they could get for a rough $110 would be equal if not beaten by 2xR7s
  13. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xd3Pt6 perhaps try this then you could double sli in the future cheaply and it has the same power with just a bit more cost and usb3.0
  14. if you somehow combine the two, then stick it or a vbs script that triggers it to run silently in the start up programs folder and it will run at boot
  15. http://www.ghacks.net/2015/09/13/make-your-windows-10-taskbar-100-transparent/ This method right? My only though is some complicated batch script or vbs that uses a method like this one http://superuser.com/questions/850802/changing-visual-effects-settings-through-command-line invoked by a window being maximized as seen here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1232442/testing-to-see-if-a-window-is-maximized https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms632646(v=vs.85).aspx
  16. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XWxwGX appnee reloader or kenguin for win10 The mobo is up in the air by his needs and the cpu is competitive to i5s but everyone needs an amd in their lives
  17. ah yeah those are normal display ports so that cable will work fine
  18. no worries, that will work, but be sure the card had displayport since most have mini display port
  19. yeah two of those and a normal hdmi cable should get you running
  20. Active adapter have a chip that converts the feed, passive require the card to do it. my understanding is that many cards can only handle 1 or 2 video conversions meaning that 3 or more monitors require active adapters
  21. Id go display port to div and since its only one you can use passive or active
  22. a hybrid OS based on light security and low tracability/footprint Like whonix on the go
