  1. Tails is for anonymity not security, slight difference being that tails isn't great for day to day use and is meant to be the equivalent of a burner phone. The tor networks major fault is that some proxies/points are ran with malicious intents(people attacking people using them). But, it has its own set of advantages. Considering it only cost a thumb drive and 10 minutes, yeah its worth using if you need or want to. Its not really any less safe than any other OS just a different set of threats.
  2. You'll likely need to 3d model it by certain guide lines for any company...but 10 bucks would likely be less than the cost of the filament, raise that price exponentially for any usable case.
  3. Clean install simply means not an update, like starting new and fresh. For windows 10 you can 1)buy an install cd - all you do is boot to the cd and install through the guided interface 2)Buy a product key and make a usb to install yourself (google install windows usb) linus did a video I believe Not the best, but this should work for you http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2376-usb-flash-drive-create-install-windows-10-a.html [edit] MS official instructions https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/
  4. Thanks, At some point I had hit some syntax error with doing the lower case operation on one of the inputs, I think it may have been related to the string though, I just went overly cautious. I'm cleaning it up now actually.
  5. The google rewards thing, very little pay but their super quick and you can use the credit at the playstore etc Most sites pay small change for 50 questions.
  6. Heres some python 3.5 from a good while back, another post reminded me I had it. Its sloppy and abit hacky since when I made it I was just trying to get it to work quickly. Its just a cipher that makes a key file and a file for the encrypted message. It does require inflect to convert numbers to their word form, which was easier than handling numbers and letters/symbols.
  7. Somebody check his search history Don't fight it, youll regret it as I am Though Surge and Monster are largely the reason I rarely sleep.
  8. I'm still looking on the cipher but I think the first part is intentionally misleading. The answer to life, the universe, and everything is 42 or 37, however the quote on the image is a direct statement that "The universe is the answer to everything" which is somewhat different and suggest the universe has something to do with the answer/plaintext. I'm also doubt that battlegrounds is right, that seems to work off that N or whatever key is used is static, and is thats true you get b-a-t-t-l-e-g-r-o-u-n-d-s-13-t-14-11-t-13-e-g-14-l-r Which I cant see any solution for given the used/known letters. I've tried many online translators and ciphers and got nothing reasonable, I thought for a minute that the numbers were perhaps some cipher of the passphrase or vis-verse, but I'm just spinning my wheels.
  9. Best case, light buzz worse case, stomach pump and hospital likely case, feeling bleh for a couple hours or just a nasty after taste
  10. If you just downloaded it once, try again, a bad download is possible.
  11. People do that? sounds grand
  12. Gotta start getting up at 7 next week, I'm not even asleep til then most days now. Why can society be nocturnal?
  13. RedWulf

    Yep

im impulsive so I tried it They canceled the order as a technical problem, so pricing error
  14. RedWulf

    Yep

My guess is the company messed up on there prices since everything is only a few dollars, perhaps they put shipping in as the price or something
  15. What did you order? I would think if its being mailed its an install cd, in which case you don't need a usb or you can use Rufus to essentially move the cd to a usb. If its just the key then you can either do it the right way and use the windows media creation tool from MSs website or use rufus and a windows iso file to make the usb
  16. Firstly, you may want to use samba not cifs, more common and modern. But, thats not a vital matter, have you tried tried this for I/O error?
  17. Wipe is a little different than delete, to my understanding more complete. My only guess at this point is either a bad connection, in which case try plugging it in another point and jiggle it abit or some odd corruption I lack knowledge of how to fix. At this point I personally would just boot into linux or clonzilla or another low level utility like DBAN and "nuke" or wipe the drive all together. If you dont like live booting or dont want to risk it then hopefully some higher user will be along soon
  18. Can you check it with aomei, then if that fails or doesnt turn up anything try just plainly wiping the partition
  19. Nothing on it that you need? Try some tool to wipe/nuke it. I normally say dban because its famous, but google turns up some tools that can run in windows to wipe it. I cant say I've seen an error quite like that one before though, what do other programs say about formatting it?
  20. Windows will only read and work with the first part of a thumb drive naively, try minitools partition wizard(free third party tool).
  21. I feel like having a screen hanging or suspended makes it much more "high-tech" than just using a stand.

  22. you use torrent? oh you hacker you
  23. If debian was more common and supported, I'd be all about it. Well...you SHOULD have paid for 7 or 8
