hodge22 reacted to SImoHayha in Anyone get a "game high" or the flight or flight response while gaming?
This might sound extremely strange. But do any of you lads get a gamer high? Like I do? If you lads don't know what that is, its a moment from at least my own experience a moment when you are fully immersed into the game, and obtain a moment of godlike reflexes and controls. A example of this happening to me is usually when am playing online, the last time that it happened short time ago, was playing MW3 and I went 80 and 2 and got a nuke, and was wrecking people left and right.  When this usually happens, most players can't stand a chance, cause am just so in the game, and as if I was part of the game itself allowing me to essentially hone all of my senses correctly, as if I was in the situation.

The Fight or Flight, response usually only kicks in for me when am playing a horror game or being the only survivor in a very intense game. My I can hear my heartbeat, I can feel my senses being on edge and hoping for my survival.

So yea, kinda strange. But oh well, any of you lads get these responses when playing?

I'd personally welcome the idea as I love all 3 of the channels and loving having somewhere to talk about it all not sure at to why they don't already though, maybe in the future

Why is there no "official" thread for those channels like there is for the regular videos?

Might be in the wrong section.

My opinion: I think this does a good job of showing how bs the music industry's claims of how piracy is hurting them is. The industry itself is moving towards streaming and away from purchasing singles and albums. Hopefully this can get people to realize the bs that the record labels are pushing out and start to see piracy as a result of poor distribution methods rather than a crime that robs artists of their money.

Nice, that's my only complaint about my G502, I have to have all the LEDs off and had to paint the blue on the mouse because it doesn't match anything in my setup.

why? It's a prototype, they might be using Pascal in the actual version?

Pretty sure Pascal GPU's aren't being manufactured yet, how do you want them to use Pascal?

Remember back when we could go out for an entire day and still get home with half of our phone's battery remaining? Now we carry battery banks whenever we go out.

Yeah I'm also waiting for this, I've been using my brother's Core to get used to it while he's been overseas ever since I heard that this was coming.  As long as it's $80 or less I'm down for it.  I'd still consider it as long as it's cheaper than an MX Master.

Where are you looking for your prices? The Logitech Gaming website lists the RRP of the Core as $99.95 and the Spectrum as $129.95.

Keep in mind that all the major online retailers here buy the Core in bulk since it's incredibly popular and can sell it at $65.  I expect the same to be true of the Spectrum once there is enough supply to fill orders that can meet a similar demand/supply ratio.  I do suspect that we'll still get hit with a price premium despite the US RRP being the same - likely because A - less supply as it's a new product and higher demand as a result, B - RGB 'premium', or C - straya tax.

GlassBomb has it right though, the MRSP/RRP can be the same but for the price delivered to consumers there will be a difference based on the retailer's profit margin and the other factors I outlined.

Edit: It's also possible that the RRP of the Core has dropped since release so, maybe they meant the RRP of the Spectrum is the same as the original RRP of the Core.  Entirely possible but I'm too lazy to investigate further.

Great video again Linus and team! But am I the only one that noticed all the smooth transitions between graphs as opposed to just flashing them on the screen? I found this way to be far more appealing and would love to see it in more videos. It felt far more proffesional and well done as opposed to flashing the benchmarks on the screen like in some other videos. Love to hear what you all think and if anybody else agree or disagree?
