If the case is causing problems I will change it, nobody knows when RTX series (3K or 4K) will be back to £300-£500 range. For now I will be fine as 1060 doesnt get too toasty and my radiator will get enough air through the top.

Will look for higher watt PSU as you guys recommended here.

 

Well to be clear, the channel isn't necessarily being used by those systems, DFS just means that those 5GHz channels can be used by those systems as well as WiFi. It's designated by whatever your government agency is regulating spectrum usage. Havent launched CSGO in months, the worst part about this is amount of cheaters in that game and useless anticheat. 

£140 for PSU is crazy in this price range. He will do fine with bronze cert for less than half that amount.

The top three recommendations I encounter are Samsung, Crucial, and Intel. Though if you dig down deeper, other names get dropped as well.

Corsair recently made the MP510, which is faster than a Samsung 970 PRO AFAIK. But I'd still get a Samsung SSD for the most endurance.

Yes if the tower has enough clearance so check the dimensions before u commit.
I had like 1cm clearance according to the case and cooler and this is how I solved my problem

If you don't want to use the oven ever again, yes.
Just like heating up a GPU in the oven, it's going to release toxic gas that will stick around in the oven and contaminate anything else put in.

Normal pricing, just another option for consumers. Dont see why its exclusive to amazon. Cut $20 of each tier and we can talk.

The price is very close to the Samsung 850 EVO and the Crucial MX500 is even cheaper.
So unless this one can compete with these two I really dont see the appeal unless it becomes cheaper.

If their new tech “RTX” is gonna enhance performance as they claim then probably this year or early next year we could see a AAA title with RTX support on some 2080ti or Titan GPU.

The definition doesnt mean the product doesnt work, it means theres a new generation. Linus and Luke used word obsolete when they talked about phones and we know phones still work years later ?
 
So as soon as volta is out the pascal is indeed obsolete, until then its fine.
 
So both u and the title (volta isnt out yet nor this new RTX) are wrong.

See once you promise a speed, especially something ridiculous like 10gbps, business and residential like to run speed test quite often to either show off the speed or make sure they're getting what they are paying for. Seeing how speed test servers dont support that yet and 10gbps probably going to be hard to maintain, they will bitch a lot and complain that they are only getting 8 out of the 10gigs. 
 
And yes, I get we need to push technology, but when the max average usage of residential is around 250mbps and the collage dorm here that has around 400-600 students maxes at 1gbps, trust me, you DONT need 10gbps. 
 
Also the advertising is great, but 99% of the time people dont even know what their speeds are nor care. 

By the time prices fall, you will have saved for another GPU
