    Bought a ssd from eBay and it came in a box that had a sticker saying “not for retail sale”. It is a genuine Samsung 1tb 860 evo. Is it somehow different than a “for retail sale” version? I’m going to install it in place of the 1tb hdd that came in my HP Omen 15 laptop and was curious.

    Philips 55" 4K tv for under $300. Gonna use it as my all in one. Chromecast,Xbox one and PC all hooked up to it and the bluray player hooker up to my 42"

    I am either going to wait for zen or go with one of the two choices I mentioned in the first post. No Intel no Intel no Intel no Intel no Intel. How many times must I mention no Intel? I am going amd period. Did I mention no Intel?

    To all who suggested Intel cpus. I am not going Intel and will never buy Intel. I might however wait for zen but I am more leaning to the 2 options and only those 2 options I stated in my original post. Thanks anyway.

    No thanks. Currently have a prefab with crappy mobo and i3. If I'm buying a new mobo and cpu I'm going amd only. F Intel.

    Thanks. I don't have any plans to overclock the CPU or gpu for a while. I want to see what it can do right out of the box. Down the road I'll probably do a light overclock. As stated I'm not a hardcore gamer so I don't need the fastest speeds I can get from it. I want it to last. I want it to be a decent but kind of a low budget system.thats why no Intel CPU or changing to ddr4 ram and stuff.

    I'm not a hardcore gamer and I'm planning my first build. I would like opinions on my choices of CPU. Whichever one I buy will be paired with a decent motherboard from asus,asrock or msi.
