  4. I couldn't find it here, I just ended up ordering the E10K.
  5. I need something external which I can use with my laptop anyway.
  6. I just got myself a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 880s and I was hoping to be able to use them without an amp, however it seems like max volume just barely gets me a comfortable listening experience. I see this Fiio E10K recommended a lot, however it's 86 euros (92$) here. Is there any option that is decent under say 50 euros? I'll spend the money if I need to, but I would prefer to keep it cheap if possible. Thanks
  7. I ended up ordering a pair of Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pros. Hopefully they're good, I shall see tomorrow.
  8. So I've been using these Audio Technica headphones for a good few years. I like them but I think it's time for an upgrade. Mainly because the foam has gotten hard and it's starting to hurt my ears a lot. One of the most important factors for me is comfort, I often game many hours in a row so I want headphones that won't kill my ears. While I would really like an open back design, I don't want people hearing everything that's going on ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).. Are they really that bad? If so I'll definitely want to go with a closed design. I would say my budget is around the 150-250$ range, any suggestions would be appreciated.
  9. I get the same results on different games as well (rocket league, dayz). My ping sometimes is as low as 40 while using a VPN, this is when I manage to pick a VPN server that's close to the game server.
  10. I just tried Luxembourg and got an identical 97 ping. In any case I'm hoping to find a solution that doesn't involve me paying for a VPN each month and having to deal with one every time I want to play.
  11. Is there a solution to that other than using a VPN?
  12. I recently got this internet: You would think life is good but there's one huge issue. Usually some time in the evening my ping goes to absolute shit. I suddenly get 150-200 ping on servers where I would usually get ~40 during the day. The thing is whenever I do a speedtest, the result is always the same as above. However games become completely unplayable. I've found that using a VPN fixes my ping issues but it's incredibly frustrating to deal with, costs money and can still net me a high ping depending on where the game server is hosted. My firewall is disabled, I don't use an anti virus, I've restarted my PC and router several times (this has been an issue for many weeks). What's going on here? I assume my ISP is doing something with my internet but I'm not sure. Here's an example... My ping on CSGO without a VPN: My ping on CSGO while using a VPN to connect through the Netherlands:
  13. I have come out of the shadows to prove that it doesn't matter that it's an old post *goes back in the shadows*
  14. Yup, I started downloading the driver but it was going to take a few hours so I did @Volbet 's suggestion in the mean time and it fixed the issue. I'll make sure to update the driver anyway though. Thanks!
  15. Wow. Just wow. This actually fixed it. I can't thank you enough. I'm equally impressed by your solution as I am disappointed by this goddamn utility. It has literally been ruining my internet for a year wtf. Now I FINALLY get what I pay for
  16. More nooby on my part because I just checked and it is actually out of date. I'm updating now. Fingers crossed!
  17. It does have that actually. How do I go about disabling it? I have this Killer Network Manager, should I uninstall that?
  18. So we recently upgraded to 300mbit fiber and every PC in the house gets the full speed except for my laptop (Aorus X7). It's supposed to have a good network card and I'm connected directly to the router with an ethernet cable, so I don't think the issue is with hardware. Yet still whenever I do a speedtest my internet spikes to 300mbit in the first second then just goes down and stays perfectly constant on 80mbit. I've tested on 2 other PCs and they both get 300+mbit on the same connection. Furthermore my ping is pretty crappy to servers that aren't right next to me, whereas the other PCs still get good ping to them (this is quite annoying when I'm gaming). So I'm thinking of just reinstalling windows sometime soon anyway, or maybe upgrading to windows 10. But for the mean time anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? The only thing I could think of is some program doing it, I ran malwarebytes and it found nothing.
  19. Well as I said, I only have experience from MM, however I'm open to doing whatever. I don't really have anyone to play with around my rank atm, so I'm hoping I can join an existing group and play whatever they're playing.
  20. http://steamcommunity.com/id/fpsgameclips/ I usually play solo queue matchmaking, however it's getting quite frustrating to play with randoms who refuse to follow basic strats or don't even know any basic smokes. Also I'm hoping to start taking my game to the next level and I feel like a solid team would help me do that. I'm available pretty much any day after 7pm +1 time, however on some days I'll be on earlier as well. At the moment I've only been playing matchmaking, however I'm open to joining other leagues as well. The positions I'm comfortable playing are support and lurker, though I could really get into anything I guess. Just add me if you want to discuss further. Thanks!
  21. Awesome! I'm currently using a SteelSeries Sensei and I'm getting quite heavily invested into CS:GO. The Sensei was alright for everyday use however for competitive FPS gaming I've noticed it has some considerable flaws, including tracking issues and acceleration which you can't turn off. Not to mention that I've been using it for so long that the coating is literally peeling off and it looks disgusting So I would be buying a new mouse sometime soon anyway, it would be really awesome to give this mouse a shot.
