  1. Thanks for the replies. Is there what is the option that is the easiest to maintain? I am not going to be there to maintain the server so it needs to be fairly easy to use preferably with a GUI.
  2. I am currently running Windows 10 Pro for NAS, and it works well for the most part. I currently have two 8 TB drives mirrored with two 10 TB drives on the way that I would also like to mirror. I would like the drives to all show up like they are all one drive. Such as in my case, drive T:\. I know that windows has storage spaces, but from what I understand it is quite limited on what it can do with non server iterations of windows. So I am looking for an NAS OS that I can switch to that will run plex, as well as serve as my central storage place just like how SMB works on windows. I would also like to be able to run Deluges Web UI off of it so that I do not need to have a screen connected to the computer. I have been looking at Unraid, Synology, and FreeNAS. However, I have mostly been leaning towards Manjaro or another Linux distro and using mdadm. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! PS: Sorry, for my bad English.
  3. It is really hard to diagnose a stuttering problem. It is unlikely your ram. I would try downloading a program such as MSI afterburner and keeping a watch on the frame times and seeing what your computer is doing when those frame times spike. Also, don't forget to enable XMP in your bios otherwise that 3200 ram won't do a thing.
  4. Also, I looked through your report and did not see anything that should keep it awake. It could be a bad mouse or other device that is plugged in. You could try unplugging stuff one by one. One more thing you could try with powercfg is the command "powercfg /requests" see if that comes up with anything.
  5. View event logs Click Start Search for View event logs in the search bar Start the event logs and wait for them to load Click Windows Logs System Click Filter current logs on the right pane Select Event Source: Power troubleshooting and click OK In the middle, check the event logged when your PC woke up and check the details of the log to find the wake source https://windowsreport.com/windows-10-monitor-wont-sleep/ If that doesn't work I can't help you sorry. Not without more information that is.
  6. I am using the mirror disk option in Windows Disk Management and it has to re-sync about once every two weeks. This process takes forever on an 8tb drive. Is there a better trustworthy, preferably open source, option for mirroring a drive? Alternatively does anyone know why it has to re-sync so often?
  7. I was thinking that, I hope not. I have not experienced any weird problems with my computer except that it doesn't sleep.
  8. I did not see anything that was listed with Chinese characters at all in device manager. I also did not see anything like that listed in task manager under services or in processes.
  9. If it does happen to be the fault of steamwebhelper.exe just use the command "powercfg -REQUESTSOVERRIDE PROCESS steamwebhelper.exe Display System Awaymode" to override it.
  10. When running a "powercfg -energy" report this pops up anyone have any idea what the driver "䑜癥捩履" is? Or how to find out? Thanks in advance.
  11. Do you have steam installed if so it is likely steamwebhelper.exe that is causing your problem. If not run the command in powershell or cmd as administrator "powercfg -energy" after it runs (it will take 60 sec) type ".\energy-report.html" both without the quotes. That report should tell you what is causing your screen to stay on.
  12. So do you just want to shift to a higher DPI or do you want the mouse buttons to shift the DPI? If you just want a higher DPI click on one of the blue lines to the right of the highlighted blue line. If that doesn't work you could see if there is a firmware update for your mouse by clicking on the Logitech Gaming Software's settings (the gear).
  13. Here is the download link: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lgs
  14. I agree with CmzPlusHardware. The issue is probably with the Geforce Experience battery optimization feature, as it is enabled by default. But it could also be that your system cannot work at max settings without being plugged in.
