Ah, that's a shame, thought it'd be a fun little project. I assume powerline is still better than any sort wireless though? Any particularly good adapters out there? I know the wiring in the house is brand new it was only put in last week. -
I'm moving into a new house and I don't want to run ethernet through or around the house so I've been looking at powerline adapters. Projector looks awesome and I've never really thought of a projector as portable, would be awesome to take this for a BBQ or to use at a lan game at a friends place. -
not looking to enter but the best gift i ever got my parents was a Chromecast and a netflix subscription. Probably the most use they've had out of technology in years. Only thing I can think of to add for them now is a decent smartphone for my dad, hes rocking a Nokia 2730.

I've been trying to get in contact with Linus because my model was wrong when it was put together. I actually like the winning design but I do think its a bit big. I guess I have one coming to me (my girlfriend has said she doesn't like it and its not going on the wall ). I think the runner up was too simple. I'm not shouting for a recount or anything I cant even believe I made it this far, all I want to know now is if they can ship me my 3D model (signed too would be cool ). Wow I love your whole design process. I'm not nearly as fancy as that I just had some previous experience using sketchup and took it from there, I really wanted to make a render with headphones on it but I had no idea how to so I left it out, it would have definitely sorted the mix up.

I remember seeing your model on myminifactory but i never noticed the cable management feature built into the mount, very nice he didn't exactly pronounce my name right either, its Fla - vin not Flae - vin but it seems to be common when people read it.
