  1. Ive seen some MSI mods write "as long as you keep it and do not damage the card while removing it the warranty is fine!" But its on really old forums from 2009 - 2013 and i know they change their rules once in a while so would love to see a comment from some one that had a RMA with them and the stickers removed
  2. I know EVGA is nice about it, had no choice but to do with MSI since it was the only gpu manufactor the store sells for aswell as the price was like 100 - 200 dollars cheaper then every where else so was this or nothing. But my second card will most deffo be from EVGA. But i just wanna know if MSI still covers it since some forums says they do if the product is not directly broken or theres parts missing.
  3. Almost all GPU manufactors puts 2 stickers on the original cooler to see if its been taking off or not but many of the manufactors just put them there since they have to and they really dont do much. But not sure if its the case with MSI aswell.
  4. A few days ago i went into a store to buy me a gpu, i found a MSI 1080ti on sale, and only gpu in store so i had no choice but to go with it. Now im thinking about doing a custom loop again, but id love to keep my warrenty semi valid since ive had some problems with my pc before i got the new parts. So would i void the warrenty by installing a EKWB 1080TI block? Some forums says yes, some says no.
  5. A used X99 ES Xeon Cpu + a cheap X99 Asrock mobo and you have a rock solild build for editing :-)
  6. If anyone else find this post sometime, found out all ES QEFY works with all X99 mobo's that support's the 5820K or 99% of all Asrock and asus bords.
  7. Not gonna game, and i work for a shop they just have them in a showroom they got a newer cpu in its spot now so no one knows and the reason why that mobl is cuz its the cheapest in my contry that still has the things i need and still looks semi good
  8. Just got a Xeon E5 2658 V3 from work to test out. And wanted to know if any X99 mobo will work with it since it is a ES? If yes will the ASUS ROG Strix X99 Gaming work for with it?
  9. So i've just recently finished my custom water loop and gotta say it looks good! Build it after what others said would be a good way but! Its running so damn hot? Just saw a JayZTwoCents he runs his GPU at 34 (Same as mine) but mine is running at like 70C? Things i have blocks on: RX480 i7 2600K What i'm using: DDC 3.2 Pump EK Res 250 ek supremacy cpu block ek VGA supremacy gpu blok 240mm radiator 360mm radiator It goes. Res - Pump - GPU - Rad (240) - CPU - Rad (360) - Res. Cpu is okay, at 30 - 40 idle. What did i do wrong? almost all air is out ive ran it for over 24 hours..
  10. I dont need more performence thats not why i want to, i already have a custom loop in my pc and a waterblok for it is like 80euro so its more or less just to get it in there and have super low temps. It's more then what i need, i run BF1 beta at 90FPS on my ultra wide thats more then what i'd ever need on a 60Hz panel. I never really game anything else then BF so that's gonna last me a few years. And yes it does, they all have in every contry or should have. My old MSI 980ti had and it wasnt void after i removed but my asus was void so better of asking before i void anything.
  11. The chance is really small, the anti static bag thing is a bit over rated. I stored alot of gpu's motherboards and more just on a shelf and even send them in a normal bag. The chance that its broken is like 1/10 it's there but it should be just fine if it was in a case.
  12. I took the RX 480 over the 1060 becaus of the fact that the 1060 dosnt support SLI but the RX support's crossfire. That was a huge deal breaker for me as im myself on a semi tight budget for what i wanted. I find it super nice to be able to add in another card when i find a game i like but isnt able to max it out or if i get a new screen that my card can't run. It saves money in the end.
  13. So i just (2 weeks ago) Bought a nice reference RX 480 from XFX. As i want to maybe watercool it, i havent used it because im not sure if i could watercool it so its fresh in the box ready to return if i can't. And that's why im making this post, do i void the warrenty in EU if i install a waterblok on it? My reseller told me they couldnt give me the answer and XFX is kinda slow to reply. I only have 2 days left before i can't return it so i'm hoping some one can give me a reply. And to be more specific about my region i live in Denmark, card bought from fcomputer.dk in Aarhus.
