  1. If the 1440p is an IPS panel, and the other is TN, definitely the 1440p one. Otherwise, I'd probably still choose the 1440p one, because I'm so happy with my monitor (LG 25UM58)
  2. Well that comment wasn't useful then. So often computer problems are caused by ram. I hate RAM. RAM costs a lot right now. I hate ram more
  3. Try replacing the thermal paste with a reasonable amount (a small pea or grain of rice). Try removing both the ram, and graphics card. Then replace the ram, making sure its properly in place, and try starting the computer without a graphics card, plugging a monitor into the motherboard. This should work unless the CPU does not have onboard graphics (unlikely unless ryzen). Then try reinserting the GPU, and retrying.
  4. I can't really promise him that. We just don't really know, and, not to critisize you of fanboyism, the R5 line was just not as good as the R7s against intel. It's a shame, but I'm just not completely confident R3 will be good, and waiting for something which turns out crap could be frustraiting.
  5. OH - I've tried to pursuede him. Meh, he want now, not Q3

  7. I kinda feel like minecraft loves a good CPU, and a better GPU wouldn't make a huge difference in minecraft on a 75hz panel, so I think so.
  8. Well yeah, im UK so i dont know whats available. EVGA, be quiet are both good, I've heard bad thinsgs about some of corsairs CX series.
  9. Intel G4560, cheapest possible motherboard, 80+ bronze PSU and a 580. YES SOOOO POSSIBLE
  10. I would not at all buy a 1060 3GB, If you want a 1060 get the 6GB. If you can squeeze a 580 out your budget, thats probably what i would recommend, otherwise, the 1050ti is best value IMO.
  11. Heres the link to what will become my brothers next pc: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/blubbered33/saved/NcHTWZ He mainly just places minecrat and rocket legue, but may want to expand a little, but just in 1080p. Rational: i5-6400 - The cheapest intel quad core available in the uk, and ryzen5isn't particularly cheap, so doesn't quite beat it in terms of price/performance. 1050ti - Seems pretty good value and should be plenty. MSI B150I GAMING PRO AC - He wants wifi+bluetooth, and this is probably the best priced wifi skylake/kabylake board. SSD + PSU - Cheapest (UK) non-crappy stuff i can find. COUGAR QBX KAZE - Seems fairly well-reveiwed & I'm curious Fire away - I want to here your opinions.
