Hello! I have a evga 500w1 power supply. I was going to use it on an upcoming build but the ugly cable colors are not that desirable. I was thinking maybe I could spray paint the cables with a non conducting paint. From my research I have found that people use plasti dip for projects like this. What do you think? thanks!

I just ordered my 860k and my r9 380. Just for fun I will run the r9 380 on both the 860k and the 650. And let the results speak!

i panicked when it started to happen. Tree of savior just released and i was in a que of 3000+ people. and i could not get to the settings until i got into the game. so my computer was screaming at me while i waited. freaking nightmare

Thanks guys. i figured having freesync enabled that it would fix this problem. but i only had to set vsync and the problem fixed its self. kinda strange.

r9-390 btw Like i do not know what to do. it only happens on certain games. I've looked up videos to make sure the noise, and its definitely coil while. but i can stop the fans and the noise still persists. i ran furmark several times to try to recreate the noise out of game, yet the noise only blisters on certain work loads. is my card faulty? i have checked my h100i to make sure the pump is not the culprit. but he checks out. any ideas?

Yeah, i cannot figure out why my freesync will not link up. any ideas?

What about people who DO research and just want a second opinion from people with said items? Like a second opinion from a non judgemental forum of tech lovers? /s

Will a 970 or r9 390 be enough power for the resolution? Or should I go higher?

Is the resolution of 2560 x1080 a big problem while running games?
