  1. Hi! before you tell me that gsync over hdmi does not work on 10 series card but only on 16 and RTX listen to my story I had my PC connected to 3 monitors on my desktop and TV on the other side of the living room and after upgrading TV to LG C9 i was happy to see it as Gsync monitor but as I was lacking display ports on my pc, I decided to upgrade and to build second pc dedicated for TV and VR, so I've upgraded my main pc to 2070super and moved my 1070 to tv pc. Here is where I've noticed a problem - Gsync opction was nowhere to be found in Nvidia control panel after googling problem for some time I was surprised that it doesn't suppose to work.. but IT DID! So after some troubleshooting and moving pcs i know now that gsync on OLED is possible on 10 series card in two ways - Nvidia Profile Selector (i saw some quick video but it doesn't work for me as profile selector has unhandled error) and (as in my case): Gsync over HDMI on supported monitor/tv does work IF there is Gsync monitor connected (not even selected/turned on) through DisplayPort at the same time... Is there anyone there who knows how to emulate such situation? I don't have option to buy gsync monitor just for this purpose as my spending has already exceeded my toy budget for couple of years
  2. well my router is TPlink with OpenWRT with same version for at least 4 years and none of other devices has any problem... AV- i use avast for a few weeks (a little bit longer than i noticed problem) but after disablng and further uninstalling avast problem persist. still i have avast on 2 other computers with win10 CU and none of them has this problem.. performance.. it's my fastest device with i7 3770K, 16gb of ram and two fast SSD wth plenty of space. It's blazing fast.
  3. HI! i usually don't need to ask because solutions for even most bizarre problems can be found already on the depth of the internet but i have not found mine (yet). here is a deal - after a while (can be hour, can be a day - i cannot pin point what is a trigger) internet kind of stops working. I can use and reopen sites that already were opened in chrome (not only cache - they just work) but i cannot open any new site in any browser. Dropbox stops working but steam and any game works just fine... After reboot its working again. I've tried to close any unnecessary process and disable avast but it won't give me my net back. It's first started when i swapped my 1tb hard drive for 2tb one but data was clonned and drive was used for music and movies anyway.. I've been rocking win10 creators update since day one without problems, up-to-date and with no beta update.
  4. well because SteamOS is very much alive (although in its diappers) and such machine can be wonderful addition for living room tv! and/or when you have too move for longer time that you would be ok with laptop but shorter than it is reasonable to move whole gaming rig
