  1. I used to have a mechanical keyboard from Logitech but sold it to a friend after a few months because I couldn't type on it as fast as on my old membrane keyboard or my membrane keyboard at work either. So I continued to use my old membrane until it showed signs of age and now I just bought a new Logitech G213 (which has membrane switches). I can type even faster now and do not miss my old keyboard anymore. I tried typing on my old mechanical keyboard when I visited my friend and still didn't like typing on it as much, as my membrane keyboard. So I think it's very much down to personal preference. Don't spend too much, but get a solid one. I'm sure my Logitech one will last me atleast 15 more years. LTT staff did a few blind typing tests and even they, who I'd say have loads of experience typing and also on all kinds of keyboard, could mostly not distinguish the "real" MX Switches from good membrane boards.
  2. You said "you should be able to buy them for back to school" in june. I desperately need a new mousepad but have been putting it off cause I don't want to buy two and I want to drop one massive order with all the other stuff I want to get from lttstore.com cause the shipping is so expensive to Germany. Anything a little more precise? Even a year would be good at this point lol
  3. Buying used graphics cards is a great way to save money, but you need to be a little careful, which ones you buy. Buying a GC that was used for mining can have the cons, that it might not have been cooled well enough since they are you usually crammed together wit ha lot of other cards generating a lot of heat. If GCs are exposed to a greater amount of heat for a prolonged the transistors and overall the material can fade and break more easily after just a few more months under normal conditions.
  4. Thanks, thats actually a good idea. I'll try that once I've found a magnet around here.
  5. So, I gues I just got it by haunted hardware myself. I have a Lenovo L560 for work. Its in the Lenovo Pro Dock. For the past few days, every few hours to every hour both my external monitors will tell me, that they aren't getting a signal anymore and turn off. Then I have to unlock the dock, unhook the laptop and put it back into the dock. So I went to the helpdesk and the technician told me that he had a similar case a few days earlier. He said, that the solution to that problem was that the other colleague used to put his phone on the laptop when not in use and that that was the source of problems. I thought that that was very weird and he also couldn't tell me how that would work but I started not putting my phone on the laptop aswell and the monitors stopped turning off. Then I acidentally put my phone on the laptop after using it and both screens went black. I tried to recreate it with my phone a few times and it broke the signal most times. To be sure, I tried putting a stapler and other similarly heavy stuff onto the laptop, as to be sure that is wasn't just a loose connection, but none worked. Does anyone have an idea why this could be?
  6. Tried it, but it says that my browser doesn’t support cookies. So I can’t login
  7. I know, that they are shooting on a RED Camera. Ithink it's the Dragon variant. Just editing them on their regular editing rigs. They uploaded a video where they showed them off, so you'll find the specs over there.
  8. I love the possibilitys that you get with this projector. I would love to place it in my private Batcave

  10. I don't have a SSD yet, because I don't have the dimes, but I think that everyone should have one because it greatly improves your workflow and effiency
  11. I really like this PC as it's small and would perfectly match y plans for making a custom case for it. I always wanted to make a complete casemod myself, but never had the moneyzz.
