I was just using my computer normally with a protein folding program running in the background an then it went into some weird sleeping state which I couldn't pull out of. I switched off the power on my psu and opened my computer case. I noticed that the heat sinks for my chokes and the back plate for my gpu were especially hot. I thought it had just overheated so I put a fan in front of it and gave it some time to cool down. After that I switched my psu back on and tried to boot. I didn't get any lights and none of the fans spun. When I pressed the power button my psu just clicked two times. This is really starting to scare me please help.

Post about a time when your computer was just being a dick. Spring break just started and to celebrate I bought Fallout 4. Right after I downloaded it, before I could even open the game, my motherboard bricked itself. It ruined all of my plans for spring break.

I have a 980ti with an Fx 8350. I'm using it as a placeholder until I can get my hands on a 6700k.

It would require some drilling but you could just make some holes in your side panel and slap a couple fans on it and just get rid of the front intake fans.

You could probably pop out the covers for the 5.25in bays, then you wouldn't have to destroy your case as much.

Do you have any suggestions for better benchmarks that I could try?

When I first got the card I ran benchmarks and i was getting in the low 90's and about 2 months later I am getting scores that are in the mid 70's. What is happening?!
