  1. So something doesn't add up for me. If they take the IHS from a genuine 3600 in order to make the fake processor look convincing, what do they do with the actual (now IHS-less) 3600? Unless they came across a stash of 3600 IHS'es (Or do they somehow manfacture the 3600 IHS for the fake) they are turning an actual 3600 into a paperweight, in order to sell a convincing fake 3600. Where's the profit for the scammers? Or am I missing something?
  2. To get an idea of what it is that would have to be done you could look at LTT's video regarding DriveSavers
  3. Thanks for all of your support. I managed to resolve the issue by creating a new windows installer using microsoft's official tool, instead of using the old one I had lying around.
  4. I have indeed not loaded the driver, how would I go about doing that? The motherboard in question: GIGABYTE GA-H270-Gaming 3
  5. I've just plugged my Samsung 960 EVO into my motherboard, ready for a fresh windows install. In the bios (gigabyte motherboard) under "intel rapid storage technology" the drive shows up under "Non-RAID Physical Disks". But when running window's installer it doesn't show up when selecting what drive to install it on. In the bios under NVME devices it says "no NVME devices found" EDIT: It now does display in windows installer, but it says "windows can not be installed on this station" Anyone have any idea on what to do to resolve this issue?
  6. Bump, was hoping there would be somebody who would be able to confirm wether or not this would work.
  7. Basicly I have 3 Freesync monitors, and if I understand this correctly I can only use freesync using displayport cables. Issue is my GPU ( MSI R9 390X ) has only 1 displayport output. So I've looked around a bit and found Displayport MST hubs which seem to be exactly what I need. Now my question is will that work with my configuration?
  8. Haha, I do hope they can be removed without cutting. But I'll probably find out soon enough.
  9. I think the sidepanel on that one is too small for my liking, I am really looking for one with a full sidepanel window. That seems perfect, would the HDD drive bays underneath need to be removed as well, or can those be left there?
  10. Yeah that's the one I have been looking into recently as well. The only thing I disliked about it is if I wanted to mount the 360 rad in the front I believe the PSU basement has to be removed. Also I do like the corsair 570X, but a friend of mine owns that, which frankly makes it a no go for me to get the same one.
  11. This is my first topic on the forums, so please excuse me if I should've posted this in the watercooling section instead. Basicly I'm looking for a new case as in the near future I'm going to watercool my current build. Now I've looked around quite a bunch for a nice case, but they haven't all met my requirements. I'm not on a set budget, but I am looking for something which isn't way overpriced. So I was wondering what cases you guys would recommend? What I'm looking for is a case with the following: Motherboard and PSU are ATX, so case would need to be so as well Tempered glass side panel Enough room for water cooling components, including a 360mm radiator SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard tray. PSU basement / cover (optional) I'm looking forward to your suggestions and thanks in advance.
  12. Lan parties with something you could almost fit into your back pocket? Hell yeah.
