  2. Anybody else have any other ideas on what could be causing this?
  3. Do you really think it's a bottle?

  7. Checked Event viewer, Nothing shows up when the dips happen ingame. I did buy a 1000w psu to try and still had the same problems
  8. I have icue running in the background. On the fresh installs of Windows I've done I didn't install icue and it still happened. I installed the amd chipset drivers and gpu drivers and that was it.
  9. Reinstalling Witcher 3, Will update when I've got footage. The footage of elden ring is pretty much what happens in every game. The fps drops down quick then back up
  10. I've had this problem for a long time now. No matter what game I play I get fps drops for a few seconds that make the game unplayable. My specs are as follows: AMD 5600x ASUS b550-f Gaming motherboard with the latest bios(2423) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro - 16gb MSI 3080 Suprim X Corsair RM750X WD Black SN850 1TB M.2 Gigabyte Aorus 27" FI27Q-X 2560x1440p I've tried a fresh install of Windows 10 and 11 on 3 different drivers. I've tried 3 different monitors, Turned Gsync off, Tried using my old GPU which is a 2080 Super. Tried different ram sticks and a different PSU I recenlty sent my Motherboard, Ram and CPU back to where I brought them from for testing but they were unable to find a fault. I have a video of the fps drops in Elden Ring https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNUK0P0FE6Q& My GPU and CPU temps are fine. I've even set my resolution to 800x600 in Elden Ring with everything on the lowest setting and it still does this. This problem isn't just limited to Elden Ring, Games I've tried - Elden Ring, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Fortnite, Star Wars Fallen Jedi. Really at a loss with what's causing this.
  11. So a small update Kept everything the same and swapped my gpu back to my old 2080 super. Playing Final Fantasy XV and It's dropping frames still. https://i.imgur.com/YXyMGr3.png

  14. Going to try my old setup again using the same PSU and GPU Specs: Asus Maximus VIII Hero i7 6700k 16gb Corsair Vengeance Using everything else the same a part from the windows installation drive. Running God Of War on the same settings as before and It's unplayable on the above spec. The CPU load is 100% and the gpu usage is going from 99% usage down to 40% back up to mid 80s and dropping again. I'm going to try my old install of windows on the m.2 drive on the above specs and see what happens with that. Really at a loss here with wtf is wrong.
  15. 1 yeah it happens in every game 2 yeah I've ddu my drivers and reinstalled 3 pretty much what every guide/YouTube video says to do, Disable game mode etc 4 it was the same model that I got back so carried on using the same windows install.
  16. GPU max temp on load is 80c CPU is 60c on load
  17. My GPU keeps dropping usage and makes making my games stutter even though I have high fps. This has happened on Windows 10 and 11, On fresh installs of Windows. My specs are as follows: AMD 5600x ASUS b550-f Gaming motherboard with the latest bios(2423) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro - 16gb MSI 3080 Suprim X Corsair RM750X WD Black SN850 1TB M.2 Gigabyte Aorus 27" FI27Q-X 2560x1440p I recently had a problem with audio crackling which turned out to be a faulty motherboard. I got the board replaced and still had the fps drops in games. I've changed settings in Nvidia Control Panel setting the power to maxium etc. Changed the PC power to High Performance. Turned all the settings in game to lowest and changed resolution to 1080p still get stutters. Does anybody have any ideas what's causing this? It happens in every game I play and pretty much makes the experience unplayable.
  18. If i adjust the audio volumes in windows and move the slider up and down quickly it makes a strange crackling noise but If I record it and play it back I can't hear it. I'm trying to record the sound when it sounds like the pc is going to crash but for some reason It's not making it ha. Used a different headset that uses USB and I couldn't hear any of the strange noises. Makes me wonder if the headset is at fault but why would that make the pc sound like its going to freeze.
  19. When I open a program or game with audio playing it cuts out and sounds like the system is going to hang. Some times It just sounds like crackling for a few seconds. I've had this issue since upgrading my PC. Specs: 5600x B550-F Gaming Strix 3080 Corsair vengeance rgb pro 16gb I've used the onboard sound card and a creative sound blaster sound card and It still does it. I've also installed Windows 11 and the problem still happens on 11 but not as bad as windows 10. It don't sound like the system is going to crash. Had this setup since 1st of Febuary. Anybody got any ideas what could be causing it?
