Appears something caused the RAM to set itself to 4000MHz. Changing the speed back to 3600MHz has fixed it but I don't know why this happened in the first place.

Found it deep in the motherboard box under all the under crap I put in there.

I solved my issue, just had to update the drivers on the bios.

I've already seen that video, the case already has a slot to vertical mount a GPU so I'm just looking for specific information on the actual case.

I'm on very limited data at the moment, but I'l put a post on the GOG forum which I didnt even realise there was one until now.

Well I can't do anything on the computer I'm working on so can I download the drivers onto a USB on my other computer and transfer them? Do I seriously have to download each of those drivers one by one?

I can't answer all your questions in detail but I can tell you the ROG swift will be a better expierence for you playing games at 1440p and over 60fps if you do upgrade to SLI, the ROG swift also has a 8 bit panel which puts it's picture quality up there with IPS quality which will be better then any 4K TN panel available right now, and even with two GTX 970's you won't do much better then medium settings at 4K if you want atleast 60fps.

I agree with you on that one, I own a PG278Q myself.

I play PC on a PG278Q which has 1ms and console on a IPS with a 5ms and I can hardly tell the difference at all, so I doubt even 8ms would make much difference. And I'm mainly an FPS gamer.

Similar to the U2414H right? I think the dell has a thinner bezel though. Shame neither come in a higher res or refresh rate.

You can mix just about any monitor and still use it's native resolution and hz rate, just set up the swift as primary monitor in the monitor settings and games will go full screen on just that monitor and you just drag whatever you want over to the other monitor.

Have everything set to atleast high and reduce the AA to something like x2 as it's not as necessary at 1440p and will give you a few extra frames, however once you get another 780 then you can easily crank all those settings up on just about any game.

I found the problem, I didnt realise the PG278Q needed a driver.

Yeah I only settle for high end monitors like the PB278Q or PG278Q, which I have already payed in full on pre order.If you had a bigger budget I would have recommended this, but it's 27" so I don't know if you would have went for it anyway.

Well I can easily go back to TN, you can get TN monitors that have as good colours as any non professional IPS monitors, for example the Samsung S27A950D put side by side with a ASUS PB278Q you will not see a difference in colour, and the Samsung is a TN 120hz 1080p and 2ms response time.

IPS may have better colours then most TN but don't take everyone's word for it, especially on linustechtips, because I have a Samsung s27A950D which is 120hz 1080p 2ms and has as good colours as most high end IPS monitors.

Just stuck with 1440p for atleast the next year or two.

After playing Destiny on Xbox one I find I'm not bothered at all by the 30fps, however it's a completely different story on PC, I have 2 GTX 780's so can play most games at 120fps on a 120hz monitor yet when I try playing them at 30fps by capping it just to see what it's like, it looks horrible.

Which is deceiving since there are much more demanding games.
