  8. Hello , Need advice on a custom pc build . I am upgrading from a 2011 macbook pro i7 . What do i want : I am a graphic designer , i mainly do photo editing , but occasionally i do some 3d rendering for my designs . i also like to play some fps (and more) games. So i would like a build that can handle both sides , gaming and work. (i am going to run dual 1920 x 1200 monitors) Budget . Between 1300$ to 1400$ (pc only , no monitors or peripherals included here) Main reason i am upgrading from an i7 macbook: i would like to have a more powerful workstation that can handle photo editing (light video editing) and some 3d rendering but also a pc that i can do some gaming on. Note: i dont intend to overclock (if you think i should oc , please mention why ) Here is my parts list so far : CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage: Intel 520 Series Cherryville 180GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (+ a 1TB 7200 hdd) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 3GB Video Card Case: Antec P280 ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit) Thanks
