  1. Well the problem was fixed by doing a few changes and the end configuration is: Sata 0 - Kingston SSD(connected to sata power cable 0) Sata 1 - Samsung SSD(connected to sata power cable 0) Sata 2 - Seagate 1TB(connected to sata power cable 1) Sata 5 - Toshiba 1TB(connected to sata power cable 2) I guess it will function correctly without any problems!
  2. Sorry for the late reply. My motherboard doesn't have a m.2 slot it has a mSata though. But from all the 6 ports there are available i tried them all :(
  3. Okay so here is my setup: MB:Gigabyte z77-ds3h CPU:I7-3770 RAM:8Gb GPU: Sapphire HD 7970 PSU:600W Current drives: Samsung 840 128gb Kingston UV400 240gb HDD Toshiba 1TB I want to attach one more hard disk, Seagate 1TB to my setup but i am running into a problem. If i connect this hard disk along with the others it doesnt work, doesnt show in the bios or just briefly and it spins up and down multiple times(not enough power?) This are the things i have tried: New sata cable - not the issue New molex to sata power - not the issue if i disconnect one hdd and plug the new one it works. It seems that if i connect a 4th hdd/ssd it doesnt work. my PSU has the following cables: GPU 6+8pin 1 cable with 3 sata power 1 cable with 2 sata power + molex 1 cable with sata power and molex if there are 2 hdd or ssd connected on a single cable one doesnt work. What can it be the issue? The PSU is more than enough for the job?! Any help is appreciated! Thanks
  4. Well the GPU TDP is 45W compared to the 15W of the CPU.. Anyways the MX150 hits a power-limit when gaming on my Lenovo Ideapad 520 because it only has a 60W charger.. So maybe undervolting could provide a small FPS boost or atleast lower temps.
  5. Yeah i know, but are the specs worth the TN panel and the plastic build quality? There was a dell and an asus with an i5-6300hq with 950M 15.6tn panel and the dell featuring a 1tb hdd, the asus with 256gb ssd. Unfortunately all the other laptops featuring i7 are over 1000 eur which is way over my budget.
  6. I know this question has been asked a couple of times but i just couldnt fit in the other posts.. I'm starting college soon and have to get a new laptop. Im studying computer science so im going for a good procesor/ssd/keyboard.. I've chosen a few but need to make the final choice. I'd like to fit in an ssd and exchanging the 1tb hdd for a ssd(240gb) costs aroud 35eur. I was looking at the Acer e5-575g with i7-7500u 8gb ram 1tb hdd 940M priced at ~660eur Other choice is HP Envy M6-AQ105 x360 with i7-7500u, 16gb ram, intel 620, 1tb hdd and 15.6 ips touch, priced just under 750eur Other choice is dell inspiron 5578 with i7-7500u, 16gb ram, intel 620, 512ssd and 15.6 ips touch. Priced just under 800eur. And my final choice is Asus k550vx with i7-7700Hq 8gb ram 950M, 256ssd+ 1tb hdd with a 15.6 TN priced just above 800eur. The build quality is of the same importance as the specs as i need it to last for a few years and do the heavy job. Im not looking to game on this laptop as i have a gaming pc. All answers are appreciated.
  7. I guess i can go with a non-oc I7, and ill save on the aftermarket cooler and the mobo.
  8. I won't be buying any parts on the internet as the shipping and taxes for import are way too high in my country. I only use it as a reference to choose parts.
  9. Yeah i thought of an i7, but it doesn't really fit into the budget of 500-600 eur. I also like to think that the gpu won't be used as much for hardware acceleration. Maybe save on the gpu, spend more on the cpu?
  10. Hello community, i'm currently building a PC for my sister who is an architect. She uses AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D Map, SketchUp, excel, word and few similar programs. She said her budget was around 500 eur excluding monitor and peripherals. She won't be doing any heavy renders, as she can do them on another PC. But she needs the PC not to lag and that it can handle multiple programs open at once. I've managed to pick a few parts but they are over the budget. Here are my two builds.
  11. A new mod came in for Counter Strike: Global offensive, it allows for weather modification. Like Rain, snow, hurricanes and much more. Found this article and it's all described preety well. I think it would be awesome if they could implement it in the game as standard. It would change the game and it will raise the difficulty of it, also making it much more fun and realistic. I know this isn't battlefield but a bit of weather modification would do nice.
  12. I guess ill manage it somehow and maybe try different designs which may come out better than the current one. Thanks for the big help, ill make sure you get proper upvotes/thumbs up! People like you are what this world needs.
  13. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for the detailed analysis and explanation. I provided multiple screenshots of my settings, composition etc.. If you need any more info i can provide it. Using minimax i guess is out of the equation as it takes way too long for me to produce a single video as i have to pump out more than 5 videos daily. Any other effect that will give a similar effect(right angle edges on the spectrum)? Thanks!
  14. Im experiencing an issue with a certain effect. Im using Adobe After Effects cc 2015, and after putting minimax to make my audio spectrum have cube like form, the render time went from like 2mins export to 30+minutes. Im exporting in GoPro Cineform for raw-like video, and then converting it in Media Encoder to H.264. Before applying the effect it was all fast and smooth, now it's slow. What seems to be the issue with it? Also one more thing, After Effects is using like 15-20% of the CPU power even though i have an 8 core 3770, with 12GBs of ram. Mercury Transmit doesn't seem to be working also(Sapphire HD7970) Any help is appreciated!
