Sharif got a reaction from wall03 in I dont know if my laptop has any viruses but I need it to create a windows boot USB drive.
Even if it does, doubt those virus would function out of the windows OS.
It's a general good practice anyway to just throw in a scan of a full system scan using windows defender or whatever you use, along with the the free malwarebytes on the whole system as well. I don't do the anti virus part since defender does it's own thing and I let it be, but I run a monthly scan with malwarebytes as a little reassurance.

End of the day it comes down to being able to wear it comfortably for over a hour and it being studio headphone, I can't see why not, plus I believe those are on the flat side of things, go to town with the EQ if needed

I mainly merge multi-posted topics, unless I am on a time crunch or some other off reason... 9/10 merge.

This is one of those things each mod does bit differently.
Mine is:
If the dublicate has no replies, it will just be removed. If it has replies, threads will get merged and dublicated posts or other clutter will be removed (including the usual whining and backseat moderation) -
Sharif reacted to pythonmegapixel in Delete reposts, rather than locking.
I thought the entire point of not allowing reposts in a short space of time was to reduce clutter on the forum.
So why, when a repost occurs, is it invariably locked - and therefore left adding to the clutter - rather than being deleted?
Surely a deletion and a private message to OP would be a better solution?
It's not like any information is being lost here, as the information in the post still exists in a different thread.

Sharif reacted to dizmo in What's "too" early to start teaching your kids to build a computer
I wouldn't say there's too early of an age, but I would say one should monitor how much time they spend on the PC. There's a whole world out there kids miss out on because they're at home glued to a screen.

Sharif reacted to TetraSky in What's "too" early to start teaching your kids to build a computer
Eh, 5 is a good age to start.
Computer building is basically Lego for grown ups. So if you have older parts that you can use to teach them, it's great.

Sharif got a reaction from LogicalDrm in Crash course in video editing, please?
Hate to break it to you, but the only solution is more tutorials and more practice 🙂
It's no different than getting better at riding a motorcycle, read more about the techniques and skills to improve on, keep riding!

OP, you have a question ?
-
Sharif reacted to minibois in why cant linus do exclusive videos for his paid weivers?
Yes, I read OP's post too.
I'm merely saying they have this already, it's Floatplane. Plus, YouTube doesn't take a cut from that income (which Linus has said multiple times to people; don't become a YouTube member, join Floatplane).
-
Sharif reacted to Lurick in why cant linus do exclusive videos for his paid weivers?
There is NO point in doing that unless you want to give money to LTT with nothing in return. Why should they take an EXISTING service they already have and fork it over to YouTube when the entire point of Floatplane is to get away from YouTube?

Sharif reacted to WhitetailAni in why cant linus do exclusive videos for his paid weivers?
One problem:
How do you decide? He probably has at least 500,000 YouTube members, maybe even 1 million.
Is it a roulette? Is it a "choose-the-magic-number"?
See the problem?

it is literally impossible to get the 3060ti now, the question you should be asking is whether you CAN get the 3060ti or not.

No. You screwed up, see if you can get Amazon to refund you whatever you paid and own up to your mistake.

Sharif reacted to LexThoms in M.2 Storage with an adapter
I know you could get a pci card with m.2 slots on it. However, I'm not sure you will get performance above a natively supported m.2 motherboard as usually this is PCIe and not Sata. I think LTT did a video about a year ago on m.2 expansion pci e card. Not sure if that helps.

Sharif reacted to iiTzSander in M.2 Storage with an adapter
I see! I do have SSD, but I also need that raw write speeds for reasons I am not going to disclose -- and it would come handy.

If you properly got in touch with them, they will more than likely ship you a new mouse.

That's the whole point: it's being used to mock this whole "Master Race" - concept in an ironical manner! Your whole post actually serves as an argument why it's a good thing to mock that stuff.
