So i put linux on my usb and put my usb flash drive in my pc and when i boot off of it the screen is just black. any comments??

Any free operating systems from windows 7 up to 10 that are beta or where i can just download and put on my usb drive.

So my bios was not coming up on my computer and i found out it was because of a bad ram stick so i ordered a new stick. it came in the mail and i put it in right away. MY BIOS came up! and it was great so i decided to set it up and make my bios boot off my usb and put the stuff in my room. i plugged all the wires in and now and i dont have my usb in but the BIOS WONT SHOW UP?!?! im a noob but is this normal?? do i need to reset the cmos?? if so how exactly . IM NEW AT THIS DONT MAKE FUN OF ME

so just got done putting this pc together . everything is working except when i put the hdmi into the tv from my graphics card nothing comes up. i think its because its a used motherboard and i need to clear the cmos. so i was wondering how i do that for the msi 970 because its differnt from the ones on youtube thanks.

its a refurbished motherboard so should i clear the cmos

i mean it has to be . i plugged in my xbox one to my tv with the same hdmi and it came up

so right now my graphics card is in the motherboard. and it has a 6 pin connector in it.

the system turns on but when i plug in the hdmi to the tv nothing comes up. and my bad im new to this website and ill post in the right one next time.

yeah it will power on but wont power off with the front button lil weird but idk if that has to deal with any of the bios problems.
