Ok so everyone tells me that Titan X is not worth it. Then other question should I go with 980ti hybrid or normal? it is only $50 extra. SLI right away if I can afford it?

Stop me if you think it is dumb but I was going for the Titan X for so I will not be limited by the amount of Vram for a while. I know 6gb is plenty but it is getting close to 6gb at ultra everything in 4k... or it was my impression at least.

Also I would love to use the Corsair 540 air and a Titan x. I would also prefer to have a cool looking closed water cooling as long as it is as good. That's looks cool. I am gonna try to squeeze the Acer XB270HU bprz and I don't need a mouse. I changed it on my list and saved it. I am going keep looking and will order parts next week or two weeks max if everything goes right. I will definitely keep you guys updated on what will be my final list before I order anything. I like it lol. Don't think I need a Titan Z so that would be $500 off Here is the thing, and stop me if I am wrong. Most games do fine with 2 way SLI. a lot of them are ok with 3 way SLI. If I go for a Skylake I can only do 2 way SLI with the current motherboard on the market, right? If so, I think that 1 titan X and buying another one in the future would be better than buying 2 980Ti.

Thanks for the supra fast answer. I have a few questions. Does the EVGA 980 Ti hybrid worth the extra $50? Since I can squeeze more money should I go for a Titan or is it just not worth the extra money (and I know it is not the best perf for the money)? Why 2 SSD? If I go with this motherboard can I do 2 or 3 way SLI in the future? and what about skylake motherboards? a lot more limited choices... Sorry for all these question it is just a new territory for me lol

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and to gaming computer. I have never been a computer guy just because my xbox was doing the job ok and it still does. I finally can afford a pretty high end computer and have a budget of $2500 to $3000ish including a screen and a nice keyboard, no OS. I have been trying a bunch of config on pcpartpicker but I am never sure or satisfied. I would prefer a titan x hybrid so I won't have to update my computer for a while. But I am more than open to something else. Also should I go with liquid cooling? Thank you in advance!
