  1. I want the Excalibur V2 because my current keyboard has chinese mechanical switches so it feels and sounds like a typewriter.
  2. Various 2133MHz are listed so I marked as solved. I will try and see.
  3. I worry why they did list the others but didn't list my model. Could it not work because of something the mobo offers?
  4. I checked the list again and appears that your kit is listed. Then I noticed yours run at 2400MHz Both 2400MHz and 2600MHz are Listed. Mine runs at 2133MHz... maybe that's the problem? HX421C14FBK2/16 - mine HX424C15FBK2/16 - yours asus X99 series compatibility link
  5. I'm building my first PC and already have all the parts. When getting ready to assemble it, I decided to double check compatibility. Then I noticed my HiperX Fury 8*2 2133MHz memory kit (hx421C14FBK2/16) isn't listed as compatible with my ASUS X99-A USB 3.1, or their x99 series in general. Do you know if it will work out or do I have a problem in my hands now? My parts: CPU Intel I7 5820K Cooler Noctua nh-d15 Motherboard Asus X99-A 3.1 Memory 16gb HyperX Fury DDR4 Graphics Sapphire R9 390 Nitro Disc Drive 1 WD Black 4tb HD Disc Drive 2 SSD Samsung EVO 250gb SSD PSU Corsair AX1200i (overkill) Thanks in advance Asus x99 series compatibility link EDIT: The 2400MHz and 2600MHz models are listed, but mine isn't.
  6. So I can put my soundbanks and video in it for low latency editing!
  7. Its an APC SUA1500BI-BR (bivolt version of the north american model). We don't have access to newer models here. I understand that it wouldn't go pass that on load. My concern is that I don't know if PSUs, at any time (boot?), momentarily draw full wattage just to check if current is A-OK or something like that. If they do, the UPS would shut down (1200w on a 1050w rated UPS). Am I being paranoid?
  8. Hello friends, this is my first topic so tell me if I'm doing anything against the rules. I am building a systen that will be drawing around 550w. So an ax860i would be fine but if I add another R9 390 it would be 100% on the power supply. As I live in Brazil, I don't have many 1000w options so I would go for an ax1200i. Thing is I have a 1500va ups (rated to 1050 watts). Though I know the PSU won't draw more than 900w on load, I worry: does it perform something like a power check on boot that would momentarily draw more than 1050 and cause my UPS to shut down? If not, am I ok to go? I know it's sudden but I kind of need an answer in 10 minutes for discount reasons. edit: I lost the discount on the 860w model. Now trying to know if I can safely buy the 1200w one (on discount for 2 more days).
  9. Roccat Kiro! Because I have small hands like Linus. :]
  10. Looks like it would make for a great recording/streaming machine. Plus carrying it well hid on public transportation to game at your friend's house.
  11. The Autore keyboard! Because it's a discrete mechanical keyboard with optional PS/2, which I've experienced being hard to find. I wonder if the build quality makes it quieter.
