    I’ve decided to go ahead and apply LM to it and take it as an experiment since I’ve yet to find any definitive answer for is this a bad idea. I’m willing to lose the heatsink if it comes to it anyways. This is just a spare card I had which I now intend to use for compute tasks and wanted to see how much more I could squeeze out of it.

    I’m looking at an ASUS 1060 Dual OC which has what appears to be an aluminium heatsink with copper plating at the GPU contact area. I know about the gallium and aluminium problems. Long story short, is it ok to use liquid metal with copper plated aluminium?
