  1. Can someone please buy a Titan XP and run some benches on 3440x1440?? I'm considering selling my SLI 980 Ti's for a single Titan XP, but I don't want to lose out on high fps gaming...
  2. I just finished building my Dad a new computer for his home business and I told him for his birthday, which is coming up very soon, that I would upgrade his monitor for him. He is currently using an Acer S23HL which for him isn't all that bad but I notice him leaning towards the screen to read text on websites and his bank statements. I found this ASUS VC279H or ASUS VN279Q on Amazon and I'm thinking about this as a decent upgrade for him. What are your thoughts on this upgrade? Any other options out there that I may be missing? Any suggestions or opinions are greatly appreciated. Some things to consider: I would like to stick with ASUS or Dell monitors and under $250.00 since I'm using a $100.00 Amazon Gift Card to help with the purchase. (Of course monitor must be available on Amazon hence the gift card) and 27 inches would be ideal.

  4. I appreciate the counter suggestions! The LG Ultrawide is a possible competitor, the Acer is out since it doesnt have VESA mount compatibility and I honestly don't really like Acer...
  5. My original thought before I saw the VG245, thanks for your input!
  6. I do not have a graphics card for the system yet, I currently have a GTX 760 and a R9 270X laying around that I could throw in it. I like the IPS idea but the freesync 75hz kinda intrigues me but I'm not sure the TN panel will disappoint me.
  7. Please help me decide between these 2 monitors for Dad's Christmas present... ASUS VG245H - 24" 1080p TN Panel with 75hz Freesync ASUS VP279Q-P - 27" 1080p IPS Panel 60hz with Thin Bezels They will mostly be used for writing up invoices, project bids, and miscellaneous business related stuff with the occasional game whenever I go to his house.
  8. LOL can you tell me why Popplio would be more appealing than the other 2 in your opinion? Thanks for your input, do you have any specific reasons why?
  9. lol no doubt indicated by your profile pic huh?
  10. Anybody have any opinions on the starter pokemon? I can't decide between the 3...

  13. thanks, any recommendations on FPI and do you think slim 30mm rads will be fine?
  14. OK, so I'm starting my first hardline watercooling build. I am going to be running an overclocked i7-6700K and a Titan X Pascal. The i7 is installed in the ASUS Maximus VIII Formula which has the EKWB Hybrid VRM cooling block on it which I hope to include in the loop. My question is what size and how many radiators would I need to cool the VRMs, i7 and a Titan XP? I was thinking a 360 and a 240 or dual 360s but I want to know whats realistic since this is my first time. Suggestions would be much appreciated!
  15. I've been running my 6700k at 4.8ghz for the last 7 months and never checked my voltages since the asus software did the overclocking for me. I just checked using CPU-Z and it shows 1.504v!!!! I went into the bios and reapplied the defaults back to 4.0ghz and stock voltage but my CPU-Z still shows 1.48v!! Does this mean I got a bad chip? It needs that high of voltage to run at stock frequencies?
  16. I love Feenix products! Wish I had them, so here is my chance to get my hands on some. My Current Setup: 1. Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 Keybord 2. Mionix Castor RGB Wired Mouse 3. Razer Kraken USB Headset 4. Razer Goliathus CONTROL XL Mousemat
  17. Need to update my 3440 x 1440 score and I'm submitting my new 2560 x 1440 score!! 3440 x 1440 CPU: i7-6700k @ 4.8Ghz GPU: EVGA Reference 980Ti's in SLI x2 AVG FPS: 93.6 SCORE: 3915 SETTING: Everything maxed with custom resolution @ 3440x1440 2560 x 1440 CPU: i7-6700k @ 4.8Ghz GPU: EVGA Reference 980Ti's in SLI x2 AVG FPS: 121.9 SCORE: 5101 SETTING: Everything maxed with custom resolution @ 2560x1440
  18. So i was able to change my desktop resolution but it still goes back to my native resolution once the benchmark starts. This is getting annoying. I will need to see if i can do this on a different monitor
  19. I can't seem to get my 4K setting to work... I select custom and enter 3840 X 2160 and run the benchmark but at the end it shows 3440 X 1440 which is my monitors native rez... Is that normal and I'm actually running it at 4K? Even tho it doesn't show it?
  20. That .6Ghz increase on my CPU really helped out alot! Hopefully I don't fall too far down the ranks once new scores get posted with the 1080 lol I'm excited to see the 1080 and 1070 scores compared to our top 5 spots in the spreadsheet.
  21. I did some more tweaking to my old 1080p submission and took both @Masada02 and @done12many2 advice and pumped up the CPU overclock to 4.8ghz and maxed out my GPU overclocks. I now see how overclocking can be soo dramatic! New Submission!!! CPU: i7-6700K @ 4.8Ghz GPU: EVGA Reference 980Ti's SLI x2 Avg FPS: 169.4 Score: 7089 Setting: Extreme HD
