Heres what you can immediately do to figure out if it has life, See if the caps lock even responds to input as it looks like it has some light on it. If it does respond to input its safe to assume it booted to some kind of OS. Plugging it into a TV is also another way of figuring out if it even posted in the first place. If neither of those work then the laptop is not posting. If it does post then it honestly looks like either a dead display or a loose cable

How? The 3500U was literally just a better 2500U and that was already decent

The free version works loyally for me and still has lots left for me to learn. You really only need the paid version if you want GPU acceleration that badly

Silentprototipe got a reaction from sub68 in Incredibly poor OBS performance with relatively high end hardware
The problem is that the FPS hit happens on hardware GPU encoding. Ive tried using both the Vega IGPU and the RX 6800M and both end in horrible performance hits

Heres the problem, AMD's hardware encoding is garbage tier compared to Nvidia's NVENC. My 6800M struggles to record using its hardware encoder in most games and I end up having to use X264 encoding to leverage my CPU instead of my 6800M. So if you have spare CPU horsepower left id recommend switching to X264

I bought merch a long long time ago (Like pre LTT logo redesign). Its held up incredibly well despite it being undersized for a while and I can definitely say the stuff lasts

Ive hosted a modded server with roughly as many mods as that with a R5 2500U and 12 GB of RAM quite smoothly while running the game on it. My 4600H barely breaks a sweat with 24 GB of RAM. Your R5 3600 will have no issues hosting it. Just make sure to dedicate 4-6 GB of RAM to that server
